I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.

Orientation was so fun!! Initially i thought university is gonna be a pretty relaxing kinda lifestyle, so the orientation camps will be also kinda slack? but fun at the same time. SO yes i am enrolled into school! Back to schoool.....yay.... nah but i am really looking forward to a new chapter in life and definitely hope i can do well! :) The thing that shocked me most was the bunks....we stayed in the leadership camp at Kent Ridge and it's so awesome! In terms of bonding and all. After the first week of school, yes school ends on thurs for us, you can really see how orientation bonds us all together. When going for lectures or after that, we tend to be in our cliques which is our Orientation group (OG) which is of course good for those who attended orientation! afterall, that's what's orientation is for huh? But i'm really lucky and thankful to be in an awesome clique with lotsa helpful people! Friends who help you print lecture slides, or photocopy notes or finding second-hand reference books for you, so blessed! Oh yes the bunks really impressed me on the first day of orientation man, i mean having walls that had wall murals on them, to air con, to a bathroom to 4 people in a room, even kettle and hair dryer. i went WOW. That's quite some big budget over there alright! i asked people and because booking the big campsite requires lots of funds, along with the t shirt and orientation pack, i dont quite see how $35? was enough. Apparently they do have school funds too! my OGLs were really fun people! as compared to the other OGLs, they were really really hyper! So a big thank you shout out to Farnie and Linus for having us in our OG ^^ welcome, to the DARKSEID.Luckily we were in blue team and not red. i have like 9999 blue shirts and one red shirt. One week on and i've already received homework! I thought i could not do any typing out of work before i bought a new laptop...because me cleaned out my computer! so even microsoft word and all are gone zzzzz. Troublesome. But school's good!! i've got realy nice lecturers for all my modules except for my major, which is communications. i seriously am wondering how am i going to survive in her lecture.... and its kinda ironic because i thought the comms lecturer would be the most engaging, since they've been constantly exposed to techinques, and to some extent, know how to engage us students but nope. Not in my case. :( and of all things my major -.- I hope class goes on smoothly yeah. it's just the first week, and yes i am enjoying school, also possibly because of the small workload of ours, all we need to do so far is to simply read up before lecture, as what every other student should be doing. Well... from my perspective, everyone seems to be putting in lots of hardwork for psychology? maybe because it's more content heavy, but comms receive like zero hard work from us, and its our major xD what sense. Even i am guilty of that, for some reason. how about joining a CCA? Hmmmm....nahhh maybe not any time soon... i am seriously considering? but i dont think i would be any time soon.. given how far away my house is, and the other commitments i have. Wonder who takes CCAs in uni and how are the ccas like! I thought of trying tennis though.. since i've always wanted to learn tennis but never gotten the chance to, plus you have to buy tennis racket and balls....troublesome. (Not as though my nerfing hobby is any less troublesome but lololol) JUST HOW I WISH UNIS HERE HAVE NERF. PSSSSHHHTTT as yes my uni, University at Buffalo is originally in New York, but nope no nerf here yo. (speaking of which i'm done painting my new primary blaster and its AWESHUMMMM post next time) But so far, we kinda do pretty fun stuffs around in school! well sorta. In psy101, introduction to psychology, we learnt about free will vs determinism. One of the key concepts in psychology. This, is Determinism. This, is free will Phone on bus. I love it when school's empty! But of course now during summer break, nobody's in school other than UB since we are the only trimester school (i think) but i am glad that i have a bus buddy! what's a bus buddy! A buss buddy is someone you take bus with! and for me, i live in Marine parade, the east. About one and half max travelling time from my house to school, provided i take a super fast bus route. lol who would choose a slow bus route lol. and my buses take the expressway so that's pretty far....But isn't it awesome when you are able to travel home with somebody and going to school on mon and wed with em! it makes your travel soooo much more fun alright! :) Speaking of bus, TODAY, i left my phone on the bus!! TOTALLY FREAKED ME OUT. I alighted at my stop at SIM, not knowing that it was left on my seat.. after walking into SIM, that's when i panicked because i couldnt find my phone with me! so i rushed back to the bus stop and boarded the next available bus which luckily turned out to be 154, the same bus service that i left my phone in. Luckily, it was just a bus ahead but the jam outside school is VERY bad :( so there wasn't any chance of the bus catching up.. i actually told the bus driver to drive faster and catch up with that double decker lolol of which is impossible. Luckily, i had a good chat with the bus driver, and because it's a long route, the bus is gonna end up in boon lay interchange if we dont catch up to it. and it will pass by jurong area, God knows who will take my phone. Time of arrival: 8.30. Class start time, 8.30. GG. But thankfully, i borrowed a stranger's phone and called my phone and amazingly a guy picked up my phone!! PHEWWWW at least he answered my phone call. As i alighted and walked towards the police unit that he told me to meet, halfway through the bus driver horned me about 25m away and signalled to me that i've reached my destination. :) i am not too familiar with clementi area really. Upon meeting him 3 stops down, i then realised he is an uncle working for the police force! such a nice guyyyyyy to some extent, it's hard to find such honest people these days eh. Even though i am surrounded by largely honest people, but in general, nope. Luckily, i managed to get my phone back and reach class ON TIME! Coincidentally, when i left school on the way home, boarded 154 again and BOOMZ it was the same bus driver!! this is then i got the SBS bus driver's name, 'cong'. He was happy to see me once again, and ensured that i managed to get my handphone back and continuously warned me that it is very common for people to lose their phones on the bus actually. Most cases not being able to retrieve their phones. He also told me that the new buses have CCTVs inside so they can track to some extent who took your phone. A great big thank you to SBS bus driver, 'cong' for being so helpful!! ![]() yay for my pervertic expression. the awkward moment when the camera catches it halfway. uni students in a car. and a great big thank you to charlene too for coming down specially to visit me! :D and pass me a strawberry (melted) cake!!
