Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |
Minimalist
I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

Hmmm i remember i was supposed to be blogging about something but i dont remember what! well it's already halfway into April, and i am glad that ive finally have the finances to fufill building fund!! haha although i have yet the chance to send that donation in... It's tuesday and piano lesson is on thursday again, along with work. yes work! im back into working again, this time at bistro cool. I seriously thought that i would nto be doing F&B again, due to the long hours and not-so-worth hourly pay. As in if you equate the amount of work/energy exerted for an hour, it is a lot more as compared to having a desk job and typing out stuff. At least that's what i've collected through these eyes of mine for this period! :) It's been some time since i've last touched my nerf projects and all... still waiting for parts to come in and then mass modify at once! It's been quite a joy working so far, strangely i see myself smiling at the end of work, not because its ended but because it was a joy working with my fellow mates! and also those shortened working hours and spike in employee numbers, so your workload is a lot lighter, though standing up throughout still kinda sucks.COMMERCIAL BREAK hehe i found this advertisement kinda cute! first thought that came to mind: MINE CAN DO THAT TOO Remember i've been using an Xperia Z? frankly speaking i'm kinda envious that people have the Z1 cuz it looks way cooler with aluminium body but whatever. Sony claims that the phone should not go deeper than 1m in depth, but last weekend, i placed my phone at 1.4m for a considerable amount of time! Erm yeah i was kinda experimenting with the threshold... i've tried 1m before and am proud to say that it survives at 1.4m too!! :D It's been over 2 month ever since i've ORDed and man i must say at times i really miss camp! especially when you get to do close to nothing in camp, and yet still earn a pretty nice amount of salary or allowance they would say. You sort of do nothing and yet still pocket money, plus outfields are pretty fun at times~ i dont know i dont really mind having outfields? plus i enjoy them and view them as a nice change from the mundane office work (assuming i do work in camp trollololol) many of my friends asked me like hey then why not simply extend your service since you're pretty alright in the army?! Even though i earn a pretty nice amount despite of the little effort/work that i do in camp, the restriction of being stuck in camp really weighs you down quite a bit, whereas after i ORD and find a part time job, even if i am paid less (i'm not), i get to have flexibility of doing whatever i wish instead of being confined to in camp. Many a time i ask myself like hey even if i am shopping at Northpoint, shopping or something, during the free time that i have in camp instead of aimlessly surfing the web or playing card games in camp, i would probably be more "productive". owww damn my finger hurts! and it's quite a pain to type. So would i prefer lazing around in camp and draw a certain amount of pay or really go out there, put in effort and work for money? i would choose the latter lolol. But i guess that is based on which army unit you are in too, i've had a really awesome NS experience so i would be more biased toward extending service! Another reason why i wouldn't extend is also because of studies. I have uni in May and... it would clearly be an overlap, which wouldnt be possible. Speaking of uni, my admission has some screw up so...that kinda sucks, i dont know if i will be getting my desired course, but i really do hope i do so! Can't imagine starting school in May....let alone what kinda pencil box i would be having! would probably reuse my trashy huge pencil box that i used in JC... want a size comparison? well a graphic calculator (GC) can fit into it and only half the space would be taken up! well not to mention i see the GCs have shrunk in size, as i take a peek at my brother's GC. I've always been a pretty avid gamer, being stuck to Battlefield 3, FOUR SUCKS SO I'M STICKING TO THREE. sheeesh what a waste of my money seriously. but oh well, hey but they shouldn't have built up so much hype for that game!!! i can log into bf4, play a few matches and i'll say "hey guys, i'm going off, heading to bf3" and a few of the peeps would actually reply "hey gonna do that real soon too" and you see the bf3 servers getting populated again! I've also gotten into Team Fortress 2, it's a pretty popular FPS game amongst the online community so it's pretty self explanatory. Bro just introduced me to League of Legends? Well i'm not really a fan of such games due to the lack of adrenaline that they provide but...i'll just give it a go for this week and see how it goes! For the record, No i am not a DOTA player. Probably never will be Here's a quick laugh for you! And even though Let It Go is a really overused song (oversung too) but this rendition of it is pretty good so kudos to it~! it's kinda sad that these people with such great musical talent aren't popular on youtube, instead its all those mainstream pop peeps doing covers that are clocking all the views. |
