I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

Sheeesh did you know that coming up with blog post titles can actually be pretty mind boggling at times?!! well at least that's how i felt for last week's post. Well yes i am no longer working at awfully chocolate, hmm i have yet to find another job yet... though i am really enjoying slacking now :P well but life here is pretty fast paced eh... so when i do not have work, i have other errands to run, LOTS of things to clear, of which my table is still in an organised mess. Looks pretty world war 2 to me but whatever, i'll find the time to do the clearing. without work, now i have more time to focus on piano as well as my hobbies! When i was working, i would usually come home all tired out, and i worked on everyday except for sundays and mondays. Sundays because of church activities, and after my crazy weekend, comes an extremely blue monday. So monday is to recuperate and just when i am done, tues i'm back working! so this clockwork schedule soon took a toll on my piano. because of my tiredness, i didnt feel like concentrating on practicing, even if i did practice, it was a pretty half-past-six practice, but somehow i managed to deliver for this month LOL but even so, that's not the kind of attitude one should have when learning a music instrument. Computer is pretty clogged up with lots of nonsense so i'm gonna have to find a one terrabyte hard disk to transfer everything before i reformat.... sigh and my music playlist! model kits are left undone, nerf blasters accessories and all left unpainted, so you see there's so many things that i got to get done, HAHA although they're my hobby stuffs xDThank God at least i dont have to care about uni admissions till the 17th when i get a reply from the unis... so wohoo! worry later. But i am glad that this week has been a good week for my soul, Things seem pretty messed up, with everything going haywire, like not a single thing is going on it's right path for the past month, but finally things are beginning to take shape, playing with lego definitely did help me take my mind off matters, and without work, that is when i found myself with more time to do other stuff (obviously) and coincidentally, mum fell sick, plus on the sideline, office politics and all, sucks. So mum fell sick, she took the day off, and during lunchtime, i drove both of us out for a meal. Thursday, i believe. Out of randomness, she went "why not let's pop by the plant nursery" mum and i have always been fond of nature and gardening, always wanting to beautify the garden. Although our busy schedules soon left the garden pretty messy and all. Met a really helpful salesperson, bought a weeding tool each for both of us and we headed home! weeds have infested our garden, so both of us spent some quality time together while ridding the garden of weeds :) AHHHHH yeah that's a can of insecticide, i got soooo annoyed by the houseflies around. RID ZE WORLD OF ALL HOUSEFLIES. wonder why God created em.. dont see them having much "use" in the world anyway. annoying creatures. Okay the photo below is the weeding tool that we got, what happens is that you shove it into the soil, as a fulcrum, yank out the soil just a lil bit and voila~! the weed actually comes out a lot easier because of the loose soil around :) a definite must get for all gardeners doing weeding. it may look like a pretty simple tool but it sure simplifies matters! :D The garden has indeen changed a lot over the past couple of years, i have a massively big hibiscus plant producing giantnormous lush red flowers, coupled with a bright sunny day, your perspective of the day takes a positive turn LOL my durian tree.....has clearly overgrown my height, from a seed to now over two storeys high. some other weird tree is flourishing too, right side of the photo. That is actually a tree trunk, so its pretty huge, also around 2 storeys high and it's giving us so much shade! :) having these big trees around really cools down the surroundings, allowing the smaller plants to flourish. The wooden swing is hiding behind.. and there's another hibiscus plant at the foot of the tree, which explains all the greenery around the trunk. The grass are extremely brown becuase they just got a haircut... i shall take more photos of my garden in the future! in the mean time, there's a lot of work that needs to be done as mum continues to propagate the flowers into various pots, hoping to soon dig up holes in the garden itself and transfer some plants out of their pots and into the garden. :) spending quality time with mum and doing something different helped me to have a more positive outlook of life! HAHA i've been pretty down lately but i'm alright yeah Chanced upon this really really touching video ;') its a wonder where you'll end up when you go on a "related videos" clicking spree. much distraction! and a photo to end if off, while pruning, WHICH WIRE TO CUTTTTTTTT WHICH WHICH WHICH wow my finger looks exceptionally fat here. |
