I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

Yep is 2am in the morning and i cant sleep for nuts. Reason? too much coffee! hehe my colleague, winnie treated me to a cuppa after i helped her out with her chemical bonding chemistry stuffs. O.o frankly speaking, this is the first time i got "rewarded" after helping! of course i always repeatedly reject my friends' offers but she insisted so oh well. and here i am! eyes wide open, too awake to sleep in that bed of mine that looks so comfy! plus i always have problems sleeping as i tend to think and daydream too much before sleeping.. well recently i've been extra busy with the doing of university stuff. I applied for Degree in Psychology and i was offered a course in Communication. How it got there was that i tried for double majors in comms and psych, but was counter offered comms, although i'm pretty sure i applied for psych as my preferred major but somehow it turned out to be comms. Weird thing is that usually for this kinda applications, one would double check, exactly what i did, but according to SIM i applied comms as my preferred. well luckily, after my first sem of foundations, i can try to switch over to psych so there's still hope and...sheesh i'm listening to piano songs now, so tempted to practice it now but i'll probably wake up the neighbours. Sigh wish i could have a new piano, though i still do love mine! :P Oh yes and i'm really hoping that i can really get that pysch major that i want, or better still, go double majors :)School is gonna start soon so it's about time i started to do some clearing. Also, piano seems to be getting increasingly stressful as teacher continues to press me on to learn so many new songs. Seriously there's so many new pages to cover each week i'm like "whoa can it seriously be done?" but i do trust my teacher! After all her guidance thus far has really brought me to much greater heights! :) But really there's so much to do that sometimes, i'm like *gives up* i shall not practice today! aaaaand that's how my "practice" been going on for this week....causing me to miss like 3 days of practice thus far..which sucks. On a normal day, i practice twice, once in the morning and once more in the night. Oh my God, lesson tomorrow. Save me. and i dont intend to sleep for tonight so....i'll probably nap tomorrow or something.. hopefully i can give away all of those clothes to people who need it more! i ran into the problem that the folded clothes stacked up till when you shove one in, you tend to crumple it because it clashes with the hanging clothes. Moreover as dad does the clothes, he tends to just shove em in, so.... things arent quite desirable. But hey! on a more desirable note, i got a package from TPG :D ThePianoGuys gave me a really nicely packaged package! TO my surprise, my shirts and piano scores book came earlier than expected! like wohooooo although i see the scores in the book and they are REALLY long! like 9 pages sort?! that's some pretty insane stuff alright! and they do have scores longer than 9 pages, i'll probably die flipping the pages before i can even finish playing the song. But really kudos to TPG for sending over a neatly-packed package from the US, this is the second time i've ordered from them and everything is so well taken care of! :) Indeed it's a good buy! although i must say i am an asian M-L size, and when i bought their M, whoa it looks more like an L O.o scary but it fits! Recently i've been hooked onto an indie game, a pretty distant game away from Battlefield, all those fps games that i always play :) It's called FTL, Faster Than Light. Somehow i always think it's called Further Than Light though... surprisingly this game is VERY HARD! easy is already pretty hard. and when you die in this game, you restart right from the beginning. Good thing is any star trekkie or spaceship nerd would totally love this game because of how you can control the ship's systems, weapons and subsystems, beaming people onto enemy ships, cloaking, managing resources and making decisions. It's pretty fast paced and i really utilised that pause button that i thought would be useless. I catch on games pretty fast... and after catching the mechanics of this game, i died twice or thrice? before actually completing the game on EASY mode. like wthhhhhh. and after beating the game, you unlock one ship, beat the game using that ship and you unlock the next, with a total of ten ships. It's fun on how every ship has it's own characteristic, causing you to develop new strategies because of the change in ship layout and abilities. Only downside is that they dont have checkpoint saving. once you die, go back to start, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Painful to start all over, but you learn from your mistakes and try out new strategies and combinations. :) |
