I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

What's new of me being busy this week huh. I think that sometimes trying to achieve too many things at one shot is just way too tiring. That surely i can tell myself that the pain would be temporary, but this temporary seems to last forever haha. And then comes burn out stage when it's not even close to the end of the semester yet. November seems like an extremely busy month with tons of plans and hopefully everything brewing will give off a nice aromatic coffee smell at the end when all the grinding and frothing is done.Just this morning, I went to play nerf war with my friend Randall! That marks Xplorer War 27 completed in the calendar. It's really fun to lose yourself in the green while facing all the greys of this concrete jungle that we live in. To see nature with your own eyes and not through a screen. GoPro decided to bail on me today of all times. Sigh. Don't know why that little goblin went kaput on me. ![]() Mandatory photo with the nerf vampire, Drac! The one thing that I am really struggling with isn't about managing my time and sleep but sitting up straight. For the longest time possible i've been trying to keep my back straight but it is pretty challenging I must say! Without the help of a brace or whatsoever. Over this week, one thing I learnt is that motivation is limited. That after constant "I can do it"s, there will come to a point when you'll go "okay maybe not". Then what is going to keep you moving forward? Sometimes people say focus is the way to go. As focus keeps one, well focused in doing what he has to do efficiently although knowing what to do requires good planning of course. So it's like know what to do, then focus and go for it. Maybe they are right, but I take things differently. What keeps me going is discipline. Discipline to keep practicing piano everyday giving my 100% and treat it as though I am performing. Discipline to know that despite being tired I have a set of goals to achieve. Discipline to get ample rest the night before so that I can spend the day wisely and efficiently. Efficiently not just in the sense of accomplishing many things but more of just being able to smile and be jovial, exuding a positive attitude toward others. Even though this semester of my school is really tedious with weekly work, I am so glad to have such great friends around me who keep our spirits up and really putting those smiles in school! You smile, I smile, everyone just goes through this tedious semester together. On a side note, does anyone actually check Facebook using your phone while typing on the computer? Like wouldn't it be more logical to check it using the laptop instead of having to open your handphone? But somehow I'll use my phone instead. On a side side note, I spent an hour in the midst of writing this post to watch a tutorial video on using iMovie and learnt nothing -.- because they already taught the stuff that I already knew gah now i feel like I just wasted my time, although you never know whether such tutorial videos are going to teach you anything new :/ The internet is really powerful. I never had any formal classes or whatsoever on photography and post processing photos, all of it are just self learning and experimentation. And so last week I went on a photoshoot with Rachel but this week, no photos haha because monday is going to be used to catch up with school work and the various other commitments of mine. Here are some of the shots that I took! Photography is an expensive hobby. Think you'll stop at just buying one camera? No way. Then you start buying lenses after lenses and different cameras and film rolls and then you wonder why your wallet looks so empty for lunch. |
