I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

The most common word i have been hearing this week is “condolences”. This week has been a rather quiet week as I’ve been busy preparing for my finals but... probably spent half the time distracted catching Pokemon. PokemonGo is a really big distraction when you are in school. Especially so because I am right under 2 pokestops?! Of course, it was my deliberate effort to be under the two pokestops. I must emphasize that effort was really needed to find the spot that has two pokestops and a charging point, just to make sure that my laptop stays alive while I study and for my handphone to keep up with the pokemon catching. (Notice how studies isn't even emphasized here at all) When you are busy swiping the pokestops and rotating around to find those pokemon spawns, it becomes really distracting when you are supposed to be studying. Even more so for this pokemon trainer here who catches every single damn thing he sees. Literally catch em all. Summer felt like it passed by so fast, not just because it is a holiday period for uni students but also because of the modules that just were so fast paced. Imagine having to clear a module within half a semester and the other half of the semester are filled with modules too. In total, I did 4 modules during summer so that was 2x2 pretty much. So so so thankful that this semester break came just in time for my grandma’s funeral. The timing was really perfect, as bro was also supposed to fly off for his week long duty the following day. So… yes I am blogging now at the funeral wake as it is still empty, as everyone is still rushing about with their daily work. By the time this post gets up, I am pretty sure everyone would have had their dinner! *edit* It is already the second day and I haven't finished blogging. heh. reason being I went back home feeling so drained and as I squinted my eyes reading my blog post and realized how horribly written it was.
The only thing that is bugging me is the tiredness that I am still reeling in from after having expended so much energy from the previous week because of finals. And hyper Sunday seemed to be particularly tiring after all the photo taking and post processing. But it was rewarding! Because it was my church’s anniversary! Definitely a good time to remember the friends who stuck by you over the years man. You know how after spending so much time outside whether is it studying or socializing, then you need this one while to just be at home and recuperate, to "cool down".
Tadaaaa!
And it also was mum’s birthday. Mum didn't really get a proper celebration or a “day out” because 1. I was in church for half the day and 2. Dad was busy worrying and fretting at the hospital. And so, my paternal grandmother passed away one day after my mum’s birthday, today. Things before grandma's death was a tad messy with us dropping by to visit daily and worrying, wondering when, if it happens, the day that is to come.
No matter how strong one may seem, we all have tears within us and those tears come at moments like these. Dad has always known to be headstrong and stubborn, for better and for worse, but this time is when tears came through. The occasional redding of eyes and shuddering of shoulders accompanies the reminiscing thoughts of his — of those younger times when he spent so much time with his sister and mother while his dad went out to work. Up until today when his family of sister and mother and father has “changed” to sons and wife.
I just need sleep so bad… and then I can once again practice my photography skills and Lightroom editing. That is the main thing that I am learning this period! There is always something new to learn! Just that it can get quite taxing on the body when you have too many commitments. Sometimes I do wonder if I have way too many commitments on my hand, am overly ambitious or am just a born sloth. I’ve always had in mind the idea to learn Adobe Premier Pro but… it just seems too daunting when I first open the app HAHA. So right after, the cursor goes to the ‘x’. I think i mentioned this last week too but yeap! again. The same situation happened to me also for iMovie, however the circumstances were different. When it happened to iMovie, I was in the bus, stranded in Iceland due to never experienced before windspeeds that could topple the bus. I wonder how this week is going to pan out, knowing that I only have one week of break before school resumes. And when school resumes, that means a hectic schedule once again. Got to make the fullest of this week! I meant this week to be a "reset" week for myself so I can only sat hello to those late mornings on friyay. Or at least whatever morning that is left! Sometimes there isn't even any morning left heh.
I quite like the photos that were taken this week! (Did I just praise myself?) Although it surely did take quite a lot of effort to make sure that I got the shot. How I wish someone else also knew how to use my camera so that I can get nice shots of myself too! So here are the shots from this week! I think the first shot is from last week though. Honestly quite tired out so i'll just head straight to bed.
