Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

It's the 2nd of June and guess who is extremely late for a blog post!!! well on the brighter side, I am not late for classes! yes yes class has resumed.... It is only the third day of class and I am already dreading it so badly. God knows how my butt survives through those long lectures. I have already clocked in my first doze off in class heh. What's 24?! That's my age... the (...) is because 24 is the definition of "old" to me; the age that one transitions from being a youth to a young adult. The age when someone starts to end university life and starts to look for a job. The age of transition, the age of new found responsibilities and duties. Thought 21 was the BIG thing? I feel it is more like 24 because that is when your role in society changes from a taker to a giver. The pocket money is going to disappear soon and you have to work hard for your own salary now! Time to work that golden sloth butt of mine! These days have been particularly busy, right after Nerf war on the 22 of May, I have been pretty busy! Busy slacking actually. Giving myself a good break after the hard work for spring semester. It was a good semester! Made such great friends, got good grades, couldnt have asked for more! Now it's summer and school is back again. and it feels to me that when I start to become productive, I need to do it all the way. Which works out to something like this: On the holidays, because i am slothing around, i am lazy to go to the gym too and am quite "unproductive" although its still rest and everyone needs rest just that i probably have way too much rest... Nevermind! and once school starts, that's when i really start hitting the gym more often and getting ramped up for my piano and lego thumbdrives. Does this even make any sense or am i alone in this?! Nevertheless, MAAD fair is coming up again so i need to get prepared for that! 10th June is the D Day of which I hope it all goes on smoothly! On the other hand, I already have my first project presentation due in a weeks time and the following week has a test, along with church camp. So... It becomes a bit of a decision to make :/ Haven't been donating blood too so i need to get that done~ OH YES RIGHT 24, the title of my post! So my birthday just passed hurray!!! recorded most of it through snapchat and just saved everything as one whole story. I wish they had this way whereby people could view snaps on websites. yknow have some good old html coding. And for my birthday, mum bought me something that I really needed! A lightbox!! To take proper photos of my lego keychain thumbdrives. Here is a comparison shot with the lightbox and another without the lightbox. That way, you can really see how much of a difference it makes. This is the typical photo that I had last time. Which looked okay? but you can tell it doesnt look proper and professional. Now let's compare that with the lightbox one! Really big difference isnt it! I am still trying to get used to it~ after cropping this into a square, it looks just right! You can imagine so by covering it with your two hands! Which also means....that i need to take lots of photos one day for all of my products, those ready made ones. But at least now i have the opportunity to take proper shots! For some reason, i always end up eating and eating and shopping for my birthday HAHA i really am not too sure what other activities to do. Mum did suggest going to the art science museum and Red dot museum. I chose the latter only to find out that it was closed for the week! Plus I was so worn out because of the change in lifestyle (lol) one from that of a sloth to productiveness and it was the first day of school ugh. But still it was a good time spent with my family!! 24 is just my definition of "old age" but really i feel like i am learning so much more, making life more fulfilling, experiencing new things, that life becomes more holistic to a certain extent? That over the past year i've also gotten so much better in film photography, like the shot that i took above and there is still so much more to learn! whether be it film photography or videography and now, me trying to start this business thing. Thumbforlego also taught me new things, although i already know that i never like the idea of running a business but still it is so rewarding to learn the processes and how to improve. And in the process, listen to the stories of others! Not just limited to this Thumbforlego business thing of mine but also for piano, for crafting, for nerf wars, there are always so many things to learn from others but it's just whether or not we are keen on learning! OH and most importantly, learning in school HAHA although school seems to be the most challenging of all. heh. |
