Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

wohoo! i can finally take a breather and blog :) reason being i just handed in my report!! i took social conflict and its resolution module for this summer semester (yes we have summer school which sucks) and man surely lessons are easy because you just need to participate from time to time, leaving you ample time and opportunity to wander off into facebook but MAN WAS THE FINAL REPORT HARD. It was based off our past readings all the while, thank God i did those readings, at least some of it, but not all. He has like BOOKS for us to read like hell no im gonna finish that?! true enough, i did not. We had to write a 7-8 page report on whether there is such thing as a mental illness, what ails us in society; whether is it truly social conflict? Because social conflict doesn't simply happen overnight, but rather the build up of emotions etc etc over time, based on context. man it's been a tiring weekend, even though everyone else hopefully did enjoy the long weekend! on thursday, i had the human dominoes event, which FINALLY HAPPENED after so many days of reaching out to recruit people for the event, and theses are the final photos of the end result!! i was the person running from "G" to hit "5" lolol SG50 bruh.
I had usual school and gym on thursday, followed by the event taking up pretty much of friday, saturday.....was busy. i cant remember what...doing my readings too, sunday was national day!! What i like about this year is how singaporeans have become more patriotic for our country as well as being more supportive. Like even though theres still i would say a certain degree of unhappiness in our society, it has since lessened i feel?
This year, i was lucky enough to have 4 seats to celebrate the nation's birthday with thousands of singpaoreans at the floating platform!! surely it "wasn't as fun" as the Padang where all the action took place, but man are you wrong. I personally felt that the floating platform was where all the fun was!
Since everyone already knows what happned for national day, i'll just cut to the chase and blog about the parts that impressed me the most! i love LOVE LOVE the emcees!! this is the FIRST time ever that i actually like the emcees. for the past history of national day parades, i am sorry but i never took a liking towards the emcees. ours was irene ang and erm this guy from Power 98FM... i cant remember his name. As always, bad with names. But why they partocularly stood out from all the others, at least to me, was because they were quite honest?? they weren't pretentious sort of hyping up the congregation. etc etc but rather, i remember irene ang vividly saying "okay the camera later will pan at us, so we got to wave our flags and make it look like we are very excited okay! we also don't know where are they going to start, so everyone must do ah! wah don't like previous rehearsal, the camera pan then we like kenna sai so cui!" something along those lines, i cant remember the exact words used. could be the exact words. But that's what i like about them! we also didnt have the red lions landing at our side, all at the padang, so they introuduced us to the two lion mascots i think from the youth olympics or something lolol they were like "bopian lah this is the best we have, so we make do okay?" SO HONEST LOL. rather than the usual pretentious hype up of audiences that they usually do. The other part of the show that i liked the most was the aerial fly past!! i really wish they could have done so many more stunts and and showcase more airplanes love helicopters too :) i've always loved airplanes since young, fascinated by how they fly. This year, we also saw a lot more flybys along with the "50" formation flying by too which was pretty darn awesome. These are the two parts of the NDP that amazed me the most, and oh yes the fireworks!! they were brilliant, i came early with my family so we got really good seats that could see all the fireworks! afterall, that is why we are at the floating platform! mind you we had to watch NDP through huge screens at the front. Surely the atmosphere is less hyped up than that at the padang, but we are there mainly for the fireworks and the aerial displays! and of course, i got a good chance to take nice videos of them, this time no photos, since i am really bad at taking photos of crazy airplanes. best part of aerial display? the Singapore a380 plane decked out in SG50 clothes. you can see it in the last video at 47:44! okay, this time round, i had my camera mounted on a tripod and taking video of the whole fireworks spectacle. too bad my camera has it a little blur though! :( the fireworks itself starts at 6:30 but hey its good to record how the ambience is like before the fireworks! You can click here for the photos of the airshow! This airshow is different from the NDP aerial display, although the black knights put this together and showcased the days leading up to the parade :) Black Knights@SG50 Aerial Display! it's been so long since i last said the pledge but man am i proud to be a singaporean :)
