Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

HAHA omg i just realised i did not blog last weekend lolol reason being i have been really busy, still am busy. Mainly because of my design sketches and also readings for school. All this while studying communications, i never had a "chance" to do readings. For some weird reason, we just didnt have much of such. Whereas this half of summer semester, the remaining 6 weeks, i am taking Social Conflict and it's Resolution which is a psychology module. Which comes with tons of readings! Of which i only realised after my first lesson! Funny thing is that we have been learning and reading a lot on Max Weber and watching films, and understanding social conflicts but i have yet to really learn or come across much of its resolution.it's funny how i think that 1 post per week doesnt suffice to depict my life but who cares! i'll just post whatever i like. Whereas there are times when it seems so boring and how little things seems to be happening in my life. You know when life becomes like clockwork, always the same thing that is set on repeat. Last week was particularly tiring as by the time i was done with church and dropped my friend Jolly home, it was already 2am+ and then on impulse, i decided to try and find brother who was doing his 24km route march. Wait or was it last last week. heh i think it was 2 weeks ago LOL wow that's how long i haven't blogged. i did a mad rush zooming around the different locations trying to spot brother lolol and my final spot was at the marina barrage where i spotted the, walking! i think i just missed him then. Still, it was pretty interesting. I myself did not do the route march as i had a bad knee, and i still do, currently still trying to recover from my injured knee that i sustained during my last 2 weeks in BMT. It;s been 5 years, not healed yet. Doc say's it may be a life injury so it that's so then that sucks! But still does not stop me from exercising, but not too vigorously. I got the injury just before the 10km route march and Field camp+SITtest but still decided to press on with a grossly oversized knee, dismissing the pain that it was just temporary. APPARENTLY NOT. anyway, i later realised after the scans that it was partially disconnected. Which means only half the knee was in contact, sideways. So 5 years from then, i am still reeling in from my injury. Lesson learnt: know your limits. this is my BMT story! The rain was really really heavy and with strong winds, they became really painful! as you can tell by how the people behind seemed to be dying. I pretty much gave hope on my raincoat 10mins into the rain and whipped out my phone for some nice rainy shots. funny thing is that my waterproof xperia z3 had water seeping in. It was working fine, but still sent it in for servicing. God knows what happened LOL. I usually swim with my phone and wash it with soap nearly everyday and it survives. This time, under the rain, it decided to drink some water. I decided to upload this photo as it shows the candid-ness of all of the recruits/sergeant, along with the backdrop, the camaraderie that they display after doing through basic military training together. The funny thing is that Bro's "independence day" also falls on the USA's Independence Day, 4th of July! quite fitting huh! but too bad he has yet to ORD. :P yes, after the rain and my tired-as-hell face. and who can forget those eyebags man? They're so big they are like pillows for my eyeballs man. and this is why you use a tripod, because it can double up as a freakin' huge selfie stick or monopod woots! Anyway, one week of holiday has passed for my brother and he got his posting. He got posted into the Navy! It's called CBS system operator. Sounds pretty darn interesting and fun! am glad that he is loving his training now and more importantly the culture inside the navy. especially the not-rank-conscious environment that he is now exposed to, just like how I too enjoyed my time serving national service in the Air Force. He just had 1 week of training and is now back home with a surprise for me! He got a chance to go to the gift shop! (what in the world) And bought this Navy bag for me xD With the $50 that he brought into camp, $20 was spent on the bag and $20 was spent on the pin because he said the bag looked way better with the pin. So he was left with $10 in camp. I honestly don't know what pin is that but i am thankful for having such a thoughtful brother! Who knows maybe at the end of his training he'll buy a frigate back for me trollololol. but still, thank God for having such an awesome brother! :) |
