I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

*edit* I must admit I've gotten so so rusty from writing! oh man! time to brush up on it too. Finally having some time off to blog! actually I am supposed to be studying for my upcoming finals in just about 6 days time but study time = blogging time. Recently I have been mad busy trying to cope with the influx of orders ever since the Etsy Made Local fair about 3 weeks back! Been crafting thumbdrive keychains non stop that now my fingers are pretty sore, but I am only halfway there to fulfilling the orders! The good news is that there is just half the amount of time left for me to finish up the orders to get them all out before Christmas as that is the main reason why so many people ordered. Since that fair, lots of time was spent coming up with the list of materials that I needed etc etc as for the fair day itself, I was sold out in a whopping 3 hours?!?! So basically, the fair was 2 days long, so I just spent more than half the time smiling and telling people about my product with the just 3 display pieces left. It was really quite an experience!!! Super thankful that everything worked out for the better after deciding on rebranding my entire shop and this fair served as great encouragement to what I am doing! Orders still continued to come in via my online store so even though I was really pleased with how this fair turned out, I am also very very stressed in delivering the orders in time!
And so recently I have been thinking on what can I do for my year end trip, to make the video epic as it encompasses whatever that I've learnt in 2016, not just the life lessons or the things in schools or the relevations in church but also the skills in what I do. My crafting, photography, videography, piano. And combine all of those into a video clip. I had the initial thought of playing my piano music in the background of the clip although that would be too difficult to record, given the short amount of time and limited resources that i have. I guess I could get the video out first, and then make another one that has my piano playing inside. That is assuming that the extended lengths of time i spend in the hotel in Norway would allow me to finish editing the video. Sometimes you have the certain expectation that you want to achieve this this this, but in reality, your skill set can only allow you to achieve half of "this" then you're like oh shit, disappointed. So now there is really a lot of hands on for me, to test out my skills in videoing and to keep practicing and to improve so that when it comes to the holiday, it'll be a a joy enjoying the chilly weather and getting some nice video footages too! Taking into account there is only about 5 hours of daylight a day, I really hope the camera handles the dark well!
I've been watching a lot of macbook pro 15' recently and has anyone else been doing the same? The funny thing is that I already preordered the macbook pro and it's scheduled to arrive this week but nonetheless I still cannot stop watching review videos to know what I will be receiving. Isn't it kind of weird that I am still watching review videos after ordering it?? I do the same too for my cameras just so that I can get a better grasp and understanding of the tools that I am using, to make the most out of whatever I have. Recently, I just went to Wheeler's Yard (Super late for the hype train!) Everyone has already uploaded the standard blue door photo:
Although nahhhh I don't think I will ever take such photos of myself. nope.
schedule sure is packed as hell now but am glad that there is still some time in between to have some photo fun! Just can't wait for all of these to be over and take some time off to wander the streets of Singapore and try to practice some street photography cuz i'm really bad at it.
So I thought it will be nice to end off the blog post with some photos that I took there!
I had the mains there and must say that the chicken breast was surprisingly good, partly also because I never have high hopes in cafes or restaurants serving chicken breast and the cold brew coffee there is pretty nice too! Wheeler's yard is also a pretty photogenic place so do bring your camera(s) along~ I didn't intend to have a whole write up about wheeler's yard, therefore did not take photos of the food or the cafe...although i wish i did, so....i'll just let you view the photos? hopefully it gives you an idea or two! While i'll drag myself back to reading lecture notes *sigh* |
