It's been long since i last blogged. Lethargy has been hitting pretty hard on me that i do not really want to move. This week is already the last week of holidays for me, before the whole year kicks off again. Even though my school has a really long december break as compared to other universities, we dont really have a summer break because of summer school. Of which since we do have that option, all of us take courses to fill up our time. And break time in between semesters last from 1-2 weeks which I prefer to deem them as negligible; hence the whole year starting off again phrase.
Recently i've been trying out film photography... with a bit of successes here and there with nice photos but for the past week, i got a major hiccup -- two film rolls from my Pentax came out blank! now this was really REALLY bad because those shots that i took are all gone :(( the woes of film photography. But nevertheless, i brought the camera with me to troubleshoot with dad's friend and found the problem! The problem is me! I didnt load the film in properly (apparently it loads differently from my digital film camera and my lomo camera). As i look back at my holidays, it's been quite a fufilling one! in terms of me getting rest. Thats how i "operationalize" the worth of a holiday. How i give a value to my holiday, it is based on how relaxed i am! Afterall that's the whole point of the holidays. But as i approach my final year, I need to start looking for a job, looking for internships, building my own portfolio, growing my skills set. Over this holiday, i've found myself growing so much for piano the scores are some pretty insanely long though?! so long that i have to stack them up. I feel kind of sad that holidays are ending, but yet a part of me wants school to start.
When school starts thats when productivity goes back up, i start doing little projects like making my lego thumbdrives, doing whatever plastic modelling, or spray painting or whatnot. It's really fun!
this is something i made for someone during the holiday, i tried to mimic the 3D feel for this piece and it was quite a joy to make! I've made 3d magic cards before. *tries to find old photos of 3d magic cards but unable to do so*
OH LOL found one!! this one has 25 layers.
I have yet to finish up on my Gundam Unicorn kit, i totally forgot about it during the holidays!! i actually planned to finish it up during the hols but yeah, i never got about doing it. Probably when school starts! then i shall begin :P
It's kinda weird because it is only when school starts, do i want to resume doing all of these art and craft works and actually do something with my life instead of lazing around. it's like the moment i get moving, i have to keep moving. but once i stop, that's it. I'll probably update soon after i get some photos developed, see how they turn out! in the mean time, i am going to try taking more photographs!
