Hmmm this is the second update i've done on a tuesday. Reason being...sundays i am just too tired out and monday....well monday is slack day! (actually which day isnt for me) until school starts. Then everything changes. Lots of catching up to do: spending more time with friends, following up on my hobbies like photography and nerfing. catching up on anime too. and of course clearing the house also. Speaking of camera, dad bought me a new camera!! Really hyped up over this camera as i cant wait to run through my first film roll of this and get it developed.

It's a Pentax!! Recently, dad has also started to dabble into film photography and he got for himself a Contax G1 which i have been using! the shots are available in the previous post. For this one....not yet! I've yet to get the film developed and am only on my 20th shot. This is a Pentax Spotmatic camera, with Helios F2 lens! I just bought a new strap for it and was so tempted to buy this scarf strap but i dont think it's quite suitable for this tropical climate... So i just went with a more common fabric/leather strap. I was wondering if i should get a full leather strap, because it feels so common to always have that standard full leather strap! and its dark coloured too, dull. So I went ahead with a more vibrant fabric strap. Film cameras...are all second hand, very mechanical, all the shutter speed settings and all, you got to do it yourself unless you get an auto film camera. But thats the whole fun of it, trying out the different aperture and shutter speed settings. You can do that with a DSLR camera too, but there's just something different about film, taking the shot and not being able to see the outcome, only after developing.

For digital, its really easy to use, just point and shoot and you have your photo, just like these 2 shots above, i used my Canon for it. But there is a certain fun to using different films, different lenses to achieve different effects, or even double exposure for lomography, they are all pretty fun! honestly i dont put much trust in my diana mini. it has failed me so many times but at the same time, given me that few, pretty wonderful shots.
Oh and i got a new macbook decal for my mac!! decked out in Macally crystal case. Really digging this burgundy coloured decal on the outside, which is going to complement the wooden interior of my mac when the decal ships in :)
