wohoo!! I am so so ecstatic?!?! im so glad that when i after developing the 3 rolls of film, all of the films turned out good! I was so afraid for the past few days, worrying that the shots will not turn out as i've blown 4 rolls of negatives. But im glad that finally it turned out! Reasoning being for the negatives not turning out? Wrong way of loading the film heh (so noob). The scariest part is that for the first roll of film of "trying to load the film properly", it was going to be used for
Art Stage and I went with Nat!! It was so fun for me, getting to see all of the artworks, the creative ideas, the way how the artists portray, really khool! For the film developing service that i go to, they take about 3-4 days and that meant that by the time i saw the developed photos, if they did not turn out, i would not have the chance to retake any shots as the fair would have ended by then.
I spotted art pieces that i really REALLY liked, although there is no way my wallet can support that, i just hope that next time I have the ability to, gotta work hard to achieve that!! but omg some artworks were just so pleasing! I personally liked this one the most:
At art stage, I got to see how gallerists interact, seeing how people crowd around the artists as they explain their techniques and perceptions, what intrigues them. Haha i was unintentionally eavesdropping but it was so interesting! Some artworks really blew my mind away as to how they were done. and of course, there were those that i really couldnt understand.
Nono not that i didnt understand this artwork...actually idk what is the meaning of this artwork, if there is one heh. :/ but still i just found it aesthetically pleasing, so i snapped a pic of it! Haha the first thing that came to mind when i saw this, was the stonehenge. The second thing that whisked past my thoughts was the circle of life. Shrugs. Moving on!
Here are some of the beautiful artworks that i really like!
(this is actually a dead bird and its feathers, WOW)
This particular artwork reminded me of the famous aerial photograph of camels walking in the desert with their shadows showing the camels when actually its a top-down photograph... let me find the photo...
Art Stage was really really cool!! and i thoroughly enjoyed myself, although i felt like there was way wayyyy too little time to walk around. We had about 2-3 hours (lol the big range) to walk around and it just felt like i haven't explored everything? Have yet to admire all the artworks, it felt that me not giving each artwork enough time or barely skimming past them gave them insufficient credits and recognition. That i could have done more by really seeing and attempting to appreciate every artwork, but there is just too many!
Thank you so much for chance to see so many beautiful artworks :)
