Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

I actually wanted to blog on monday, yesterday, but i kinda felt tired to do so after gym session. I just started on this new game called Warframe, its pretty good! Some thinking and planning etc for your character before you go on a mindless slashing rampage which is fun! There's so many skill combinations and tactics to discuss that you probably...can never stop. Its under Steam, so if anyone wants to, can add me either on steam (which i usually dont use) or by my ign: iMB4ck. Did an hour of Abs Butts Thigh session followed by another hour of body combat and I was so drained by then! Its just two days away from New Year's Eve, and everyone is thinking back and reflecting on 2015. It's been a really eventful year i feel. One that was really tiring too, judging by all the semester-end stresses that we are loaded with. When i think back, i know that my year has been one that i've grown a lot, learnt new perspectives, had so much fun with friends and chilling and talking and just simply lazying around but yet if you ask me to specifically point out the events that made a great impact in my 2015, i can only remember some right now at the back of my head. Great eventful year i've had, gotten into my first car accident also, ending 2015 and had a very merry Christmas. Too bad this year we are not travelling! Family is staying in Singapore because bro is busy with his NS duties. So family doesnt travel when everyone cannot be present. Anyway, i've recently dabbled with film photography and i am still waiting for the film rolls to develop! and i tried using lomo for candlelight service and it didnt turn out too well, different from how the Christmas Wonderland photos in my previous post turned out. So i am really curious what went wrong! photos were overexposed and the distance for the shots were quite the same...ISO films are at 400! next time im gonna use 200 heh. flash is the standard Diana flash. Featuring the ushers who are always perpetually late to serve in church and omg the overexposure really. hahahaah but these are also the ushers that makes my serving in church fun! waking up aso early on a sunday morning is really a draggggg.
and of course, my fellow ENFJ for all the past years, Jolly who is always there to listen to my rambles and whatnot while rambling to me too. I think our friendship has gone on for...about 6-7 years?
and ex ENFJ buddy (because she is no longer an ENFJ, Beverly! who has always been there in school and bearing the brunt of loads of my annoying personality and always being a constant voice in mah life!
and lastly, most importantly, Natalie for always being there and caring for me all the time! :)
cant wait for the next roll of film to see how the photos turn out! My next post is going to be on the musical box museum. wow there's so much to learn for film photography, but its really fun :) Wonder what 2016 has in store for me! It's going to be my last year of studies.

It's wednesday!and i've disappeared from blogging for a long long time. Reason being i've been busy! as always. busy slacking, catching up with friends, doing crafts. I miss going to a nef war man.. it's been so long. But still, i am kind of sick from time to time, ever since finals ended. It's kind of weird because i am just slacking, or clearing the house, or going out - basically, spending money and not earning money, Not working or whatsoever. Let's see... what has been so interesting about my life thus far... man my body is aching all over after an intense 2 hour gym session on monday! left leg was trembling so bad i could barely stand. oh yes i went to gardens by the bay! i think previous wednesday or so? There is the Christmas Wonderland thing going on now, So so so many people are going for it! to see the lights. I went on the first sunday i think, tried to. But it was so crowded, i just gave up searching for parking lots! All the carparks from Gardens by the bay to Marina Bay Sands. Even MBS was full. Sheer madness. I heard of recounts of people being stuck on the bridge from MBS to the gardens for 30minutes-1hour! under the rain. So... i gave up going on that day... but i went on that following wednesday and it was goooooood! no crowd!! WOHOO and they have a carnival there too which was really awesome! man i miss SG having those sorts of carnivals. I took some photos of it!! Went to Christmas Wonderland with Nat and while she used a DSLR to take photos, i was snapping away with a Diana Mini! :) Erm honestly i am really bad at taking lomo photographs... so i am still trying it out! learning in the process :) The photogr Hmm honestly, its really nice experience of slowing strolling around and enjoying the night breeze. Although Nat and I were super tired, haha we still met up! As you can tell, my photos arent good HAHA lots of practice still needed ugh. We went on a weekday night so it wasn't as crowded as the weekends. I cant imagine everyone squeezing through the crowd?!?! it will be such an unpleasant experience! Really liked the Christmas Wonderland, although the lights did remind me of Deepavali! Dont know if anyone has the same thoughts. But it was a nice experience :) Kudos to GBTB for putting this event up! there's lots of food and games and activities at Christmas Wonderland, so do pop down if you have the time to! and bring your cameras! everyones posting the same few photos tho lmao. Have a great week ahead!! im going to try out more shots with the films :) If you're reading this, thank you for the home-made dinner! :)) Tuesday, December 08, 2015
This weekend has been a really fun filled weekend, because of Darren and Trena's wedding!! It's been such an awesomely different weekend of driving in the convoy and being part of the tactical team. Yes i know i haven't blogged in a long time, reason being i was really caught up with the tests and whatever submission deadlines i just felt like it would kill. Thankfully, all of those are over now, good riddance!! its been a really tiring semester ending as all of my mods are project based, NO FINALS WOHOOO! but from last tuesday until today, i havent really rested yet... like sitting down and resting or having a breather. Still stressed up over piano and the expectation to perform when the time comes. Honestly still do not feel like i am ready for this, but its alright, still have more time to practice.
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO DARREN AND TRENA FOR GETTING MARRIED! WOHOOO!! BEST WISHES FOR YOUR MARRIAGE! :)
credits to heng for the photograph
Lookin' all cool for the wedding! Nahhhh it is just for this tactical segment. After that, we changed out of our clothes for something more....suiting. Normal, smart formal wear. Thank you to Heng too for helping us photograph this shot! It gets kinda sian when we do such stuffs and there isnt a photographer to snap a photo of us. We did take some photographs by the hired photographer but that will definitely take some time to process.
And so this was for sunday!! After church, it was a rush to get the items prepared before proceeding to the hotel. I actually walked into the hotel with my uniform and instantly became the center of attraction heh. Everyone kept staring, one British lady asked me if it felt very hot to be in the uniform and why was i dressed up like this. The prep was really long but our entrance was so short!! wished we had more time though, but it was so fun while it lasted! and I am glad that the audience liked it too. Funny thing is that i wore sunglasses, so when i ran out exiting, people were saying "good job tactical team!" or "well done!" and i had no clue who are the ones who said it. Oh and one funny thing that happened is that we left the blasters on the bed when we changed out to civilian clothes and...the room service people freaked out xD It was a really eye opening experience for me to be able to be part of such an activity for a wedding and man it was fun! although the effort and time needed to prep is quite hefty, having to bring all the equipments around, but its all worth it!
well for saturday, I spent it with Nick and Wilfred from the Copen club, tailing the bridal car! There were 3 in total, including Darren's yellow copen!
It was an awesome meet up with the people, it is my first time meeting them, so it was a good chat! And i met Wilfred again at the wedding :) It was really fun driving together in one whole line, stopping at places and chatting before continuing on! Of course we took a photo together also but here are some of ours instead! So here's a video of the copens driving on the highway :) credits to Wilfred for the photographs of the copens. |
