Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

LAST POST BEFORE FLYING OFF AND COMING BACK ON THE 17th of DECEMBER! UNTIL THEN!Whats EBBC?? O.o well it stands for Emerge Bible Boot Camp!! It was a really empowering week for me, getting me all fired up for Jesus! :D The boot camp was on from last tuesday till thursday and it was a BLAST!! I only had to pay $10 for all the sessions, which is relatively cheap. :) Yes i am still serving national service, so i had to take leave and off for the four days and it was totally worth it! Living in the east, at marine parade and just a short walk away from east coast park, it was quite a distance to travel from one of singapore to the other, jurong, where our church building is located! WOAH i travel nearly the whole of the green line, whereas my fellow friends who also went for it too, travelled from pasir ris, literally one end to the other! what happens is that they board the train at pasir ris and as the train passes by the stations, that is when we board the same train! AHHH though i was late and hence missed the train 2/3 of the days xD super fail ikrrrr. omg the sky is so dark already, even though its only 4pm! wassup sky! Really thank God for friends who are able to attend the bible boot camp together with me. :) I felt really thankful upon remembering that Jolina told us that she went alone for the previous year's boot camp and it was kinda awkward. Can you imagine if you go for such a boot camp and you dont really know that many people around you? moreover, you cant exactly share the joy of the messages and whatever that happens during Bible boot camp with your fellow cell group mates because nobody went. And everyone knows how awesome it feels when you can go up to a friend and say "hey, remember pastor said this this this :D or...this this this happened! :D" and your friend would reply "eh yeahhhh!! and it was so much fun, etc etc!" and you can really laugh it out together! Hence that's how my thought train led me to really appreciate every friend who was there at bible boot camp! :D Thursday's session was really good because Pst Meng was there preaching on moving in the spirit! haha and we indeed did experience holy laughter! its kinda rare to experience such a thing :) i think this is only the second time for me this year! Felt really impacted and fired up after listening to all the messages :) really thank God that i was able to clear leave/off and be able to attend every single session, and despite living so far, we still could reach on time and not be late for any session. Moreover able to take breakfast on thursday! Thursday's session on using music to bring out the presence of God, through the sharing session of Annabel and co. really touched my heart as now, i'm still practicing and experimenting on how to exactly do so! Extremely impactful, in fact it's the session that really impacted me the most as i really got to learn how to better do it. :) it's like the timing is JUST RIGHT! I really feel no other message could've been more appropriate more me during this time :) Lately, i've been focusing on piano quite a lot, now that studies is on hold and there is only NS. really hope that after NS, when i have greater flexibility, i can devote even more! Guess what i did the moment i went home on thursday? PRACTICE PIANO! :D hahaha actually that's what i do whenever i am at home anyway! but this time round, i am able to apply more things into my practice. Will i ever play the keyboard, i dont know! but maybe! So far after practicing quite some bit, loads of ups and downs, I saw successes, but more failures, whereby i am just unable to bring the presence down. but its alright! practice makes perfect! Thursday also was the day when my pastor, Pastor Edmund was preaching!! :D He covered on respecting leaders as well as parents :) The gist of the message is that you gotta understand the authority and that if you want to be a respected leader, then you got to first learn to respect. What i really like about bible boot camp is that even though you dont camp in church or what, but rather you go home and back again the next day. the attendees are people who are really keen on knowing God even better, yearning after Him! Those are the people who are really keen on growing bigger and deeper. :) so the atmosphere for learning is really a lot better than the usual sunday service! God know's how the surroundings is gonna be like for SOT (School of Theology). Not that sunday service isn't good or what, but rather, if you aren't keen on growing spiritually, then why pay money and come for this event in the first place! Other than EBBC on thursday, right after that, we had POP party! :D it was a time for us to invite friends and stuff to join us for an evangelistic time of praising and worshipping God! All thanks to the song Alive, by Hillsong United, it was one of the praise songs that really got us all hyped up for all the three days! Its a praise song with a more techno feel, and i am really lovin' it! Since it's an evangelistic meeting, we saw various performances by church members, such as the one below! (dont know what they're called lolol) As well as Battle of the Bands, a music competition that my church organised, and the winners of the event performed a couple of songs for us! heheeh and the band is from none other than ET ZONEEEE! which is our zone!! xD Look at all the people from ET zone who went for the POP party!! hehe only a fraction of them went for bible boot camp though xD Really glad that even though i am in the army, i have ample leave and off to use so that i can attend this empowering event! and THAT'S my cell group! :D oh wait a minute, my head got chopped off by Johanna! >:( A big thank you to the organising committee for this year's EBBC, i've thoroughly enjoyed myself especially with the accompaniment of my awesome cell group mates!! :D I shall leave you with a few photos! :) Gonna be going to the airport in about 2 hours time! (y) Enjoy the December holidays peeps as i scoot off to europe without ya all! :D MUAHAHAHA
Say hi Jolina!
