Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

Wowowow like i previously said in the previous post, i didnt even take a single photo with my phone! which explains why these blog posts are going to be really wordy instead. Sorry guys. :/ in my opinion, reading a blog post with just plain words would probably kill me! Anyway, i've been increasingly busy in camp...having lots of admin stuff to settle. never imagined myself as a signaller actually doubling up as a clerk. :( but really, because audit is coming up, we have to start patching up all the holes and filling up all the potholes! Previous blog post was really done in a rush, and when i edited it, then did i realise the amount of errors i made in the blog post! xD fail.Touching a little bit on the DAG family day that we just had, the one thing that i enjoyed the most was the v200 joyride! the v200 is an armoured vehicle that we use, go google image it for a better idea! :) Whenever we go outfield, i have this slot for the signaller (me) to sit inside! however this time round for family day, we were allowed to stand in the vehicle with about half our body exposed on top! Usually i sit totally enclosed in the hot and stuffy amour, with my only source of 'air con' coming from one of the palm-sized holes, right next to my face, at the side of the vehicle to provide ventilation. When we boarded the vehicle, two people to one vehicle, excluding the crew manning, 3SG Damien from Bravo battery asked me if i wanted the v200 to drive fast or slow....FAST LAH. the faster the better! :D and even though the route was really short, it was really fun! i think if it was 2 rounds instead of one, it would be best. :) hahaha oh and when we went really fast, then round the bend, guess what, CWO from our formation, Participation Command was right there. Then he had the panicky face "why are you driving so fast?!?!". Army nowadays is always about safety safety safety, with all the protective parents complaining to the SAF and worrying that their children faint or something. hahaha seriously that moment was quite hilarious, because the rest of us who were on the v200 had that 'bochup' (can't be bothered) face. Especially when we were elevated really high off the ground because of the vehicle, while we was panicking below. Personal opinion, my friends took the other v200, which was much slower and...it looked kinda boring. :/ Guess it's just a balancing scale afterall!Saturday was a pretty mad day but yet fun! early in the morning, i had to leave house for camp, for DAG family day, and then in the afternoon we had a picnic session on top of esplanade. After that, we headed towards suntec city for our awesome saturday service! (yeah i attended sat and sun service this weekend) saturday service somehow just felt different from our sunday service we usually go :P AND in the night, we had CASE2610! the reason why it is 2610 is because the event was held on 26th of october! I really had loads of fun for the event! i was team leader for the event and had so much fun leading my group! :D my group had justin yip, as well as jonathan from another cell group, and the other 3 were justin yip's friends! so half of the group was made up of new friends! :) pretty cool huh? so there is a certain challenge that i had to handle, like trying to bond them together, getting them excited and willing to participate in the games. :) though i forgot one thing, which was to collect their handphone number so that we can stay in contact and build bridges! x.x oh well i guess i'll just have to do that another time.. The event saw us brisk walking, jogging and running to various locations all over Gardens By the Bay! As it was the weekends, a saturday night to be exact, i expected the Gardens to be really crowded! but apparently not, at night. This is my second time going to Gardens by the Bay in the night. First time in the night was on my 21st birthday and we only went to the conservatories since we have the annual pass! Second time, which is case2610, had me with a much more sweaty shirt as we ran around the outside area of it instead. It was fun trying to locate the stations of the minigames that were pretty nicely hidden around the gardens, especially when they had 'chasers' planted around to chase us! Case 2610 is a real-life cluedo game, with inception at the end :P We had to run around to look for various game stations, then upon the completion of the stations, we would be able to get different clues in different forms! then would we be able to try and piece everything together, connect the dots and come up with a theory on how the victim got killed! i really really enjoyed the video segment, especially all edits for sound effects, and the plot was really good! so good that only one out of six teams got it right! xD zai zai. For every station, there was always one person who would need to do the challenge like face painting, or trying to take out slips of paper from a tub, etc etc. and i am really glad that everyone in my team was really participative! :D we all took turns to do it and when one of us had problems completing the challenge, another one would chip in to help! :D YEAH that's the attitude! Coincidentally, my team were nearly ALL from Victoria Sec! only Joshua, from e519, and I were NOT from VS, leaving the remaining people to four! Thank God that i really had so much energy to even reach church super early on the following day, the whole of last weekend was really tiring! pretty much slumped on my bed once i reached home. Usually, after sunday service and fellowship, i will head home to practice piano and blog! but instead, i headed for the bed first xD then piano! hahaha so ended up....this week's piano lesson didnt really go so well due to lack of preparation on my side. Really trying to find the 'best' song to learn. x.x note to self: cannot be too ambitious! there are just some piano arrangements that seem too out-of-the-world. ANYWAY, its friday once again! :D like finally... i tell ya, i've been so busy throughtout the entire week, rushing through work, having tons of backlog to clear and worst of all everything just has to smash together, in terms of events that require lotsa manpower, leaving us pretty shorthanded at times! :/ I spent the weekday nights working and working and working! Somehow the work just takes so long to complete... there is still about 8 more months of work to clear? After managing to rush through almost 4 months worth of work within this busy week. :/ annoying audits. seriously. argh but yes i do understand that they are much needed... if not everything would be in a mess! Even my plastic modelling and stuff have to be put on hold...now i guess i will just concentrate on getting piano settled! Really wished i was still in JC, able to practice the piano everyday! hehe but once december comes....muahahaha! >:) it's time to havocccccc! Reason why i am able to blog now is because the computer is taken by other signallers to finish their work! so since i have no computer to use now, and i cant't work, might as well blog! :D i never expected to do clerical work as a signaller in unit though -.- YES TO ALL THOSE SIGNALLERS-TO-BE, YOU DO CLERICAL WORK. i know my fellow signallers are like clerks in other units...gym clerk also have...COPA too, i thought we always did those AV stuff instead. all those sound systems. I had a really good laugh reading this! Facebook Newsfeed History of the World Hmmm and looks like Anonymous' threat to hack government website seems to be true, 'Anonymous' hacks Straits Times website, anyone wanna wear full black or red on 5 November? :P hehehe i will be sticking to my green uniform since i would be in camp. :> busy in camp. :> |
