Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

This week seems like it was a rather boring week! tsk tsk tsk. a week filled with lotsa tests D: not to mention last minute tests. geez one more week down for training at Signals camp and soon, it will be time for me to fulfil my duties as a signaller. hah. its always fun being at the trainee stage because all you do is just take in information instead of like "working". Oh God, i just remembered the platoon has a new punishment: march 5 rounds round the parade square before every meal. SIGH. and we are pes C! first time ever in my life actually seeing pes C soldiers being so 'active'. Gotta book in at 1930 hours instead of the usual 2130 hours this time round because we were late for lecture by 2 FREAKIN' minutes! gosh. can you imagine if we were late by an hour? ho ho ho we wouldnt need to book out ever again!this week is gonna be pretty interesting i hope~ gonna be having a 2-day exercise outfield, trying out some new stuffs and hope that will work out just fine so that we can just pack up and go home!! Its funny how when we are outfield and we tell each other that we want to go home already, our home actually means going back to the company line, instead of going literally back to our civilian home. Poor 2 NSFs who died while training due to the lack of safety. Its like all there were doing was serving the mandatory two years of national service and such a tragedy happens. sheesh. My condolences go out to their families. Super not worth it, but then again, accidents always do occur in our everyday lives huh? oh like the bloody expressway always being so so so jammed up every evening! just because someone crashed. this is especially so on fridays man. oops it isnt just friday, its BOOK OUT DAYYY. guess everyone is also dying to go home eh. This week was filled with lots of ups and downs, but I GOTTA GO NOW. so....BYE! bloody early book in time. Still desperately trying to learn this song. Its hard..not used to all the flats after doing so much sharps. if ya' know what i mean~! >:D Tuesday, November 13, 2012
WOA i didnt blog on last weekend because i was down for guard duty on sunday! so...according to the bloody SAF regulations, i gotta book in on saturday night and have my 7 hours of uninterrupted rest before i could actually go on to do guard duty. which is kinda retarded but oh well for safety's sake~ so my guard duty was on sunday! its a 24 hour shift. the cool part is that my guard duty was the FIRST EVER GUARD DUTY THAT I DID in like 9months!! hahahahaha! okay so in BMT, i managed to successfully parkour my way through the 19 weeks without doing guard duty, and when it came to 30SCE, i was downgraded to pes C! so....no guard duty since i am unable to do it! However in Signals Institute, even pes C have to do guard duty, which is against the rules laid down by the SAF but since everyone just does it, oh might as well. After all we are just here in SI for 9 weeks. All we got to do is to do guard duty either once or twice! luckily for me, i did it just once! *phew* and it was last sunday. Hmmm i think my course sergeant seems to be biased towards me...all da better! :D it was a rest for 4 hours then prowl around the camp for 2 hours. this cycle continues till our 24 hour shift is done! well at least i did prowling with my fellow friend from my platoon so for me, time pretty much went at a nice pace? hah rather than those sentry personnel where they stand there alone for 2 hours #likeatinsoldier.this week so far...consists of just monday! lmao so it wasnt much that i had to do..other than going back to the untangling of D10 cables. gosh someone should just burn them!! When we first start off, we have to reel the cables from their dispenser packs into the drums and then when we are done with it for exercise, then we got to reel them back into their dispenser packs from the reels. bloody waste of time -.- its just extra work. moreover the dispenser packs, if not handled properly, ends up with the D10 cables being all entangled up inside. ZZZZZZ. Still remeber the friend who does animation drawing in his poly course and that he was trying to teach me? A cool thing about this week is that i got a drawing from him! :D this time, its no small drawing on the papers but rather a massive A4 paper size picture! he came up with the picture by himself, of which i have absolutely no idea how he even thinks on how the picture should look like! i can never do freestyle drawing man -.- but hey! the drawing is actually from the anime Black Rock Shooter. You should DEFINITELY watch it! i really really love the anime, the concept but its soooo short D: like 3 episodes long. UHHHHH..... Enjoy the pic! ;D

woah! this week was pretty fun! i just completed the 3rd week in signals camp! so that leaves me with...9-3=....6~! more weeks to go :D as a signal operator. life in there is really so fun! the first two weeks were pretty stringent, but i guess after getting used to all the regimentation and stuffs like that, life seems a whole lot better. OH the note taking in Signals Institute (SI) CAN KILL. its like notes after notes after notes. i already killed my first notebook, and i am at the quarter-mark for my second book! thats insaneeeeee. its like school?? lecture after lecture, then there are self study lessons too, and then there are hands-on lessons too which we are required learn how to fix up those signal sets and get 'em working! then we can try to comms each other :P this week was slightly different! firstly JUST before booking in, i was still desperately trying to install win8 on my desktop! of which that FINALLY happened. PHEW! well and why it managed to come to past? its because bro secretly helped to do it for me while i was in camp! :D thats what happens when you get to have an awesome brother man, one that helps you when you are away! another different thing about this week is that we had our first nights out!nights out in army is like...we get to go out during the night for one of the days and get to do whatever we want, as long as we come back by the stipulated timing. :D so OF COURSE I RUSHED HOME. i mean come on, i flew home! Switched on, my PC, saw the freakin' awesome resolution of my win8 (that was a surprise) and started to spam download every single thing i could do! oh which i am still doing -.- LOADS of things to download despite all the personal files D: gosh looks as though it will never be done even after 3 rainbows have appeared all at once. TSK. oh! another cool thing is that i made friends with this anime drawer who apparently topped his class in animation. so....the natural thing to do was to ask him to draw stuff for me! :D of which he complied! oh and he also coerced me into learning anime drawing with him? i remember doing that in one of the post exam activities i had in JC.. but hey! reliving memories man :) so learning the basics of the basics, i started off with those circular-ish templates! ![]() make a guess! which drawing belongs to who! well obviously the top one is his and the bottom, zombie-looking one belongs to me. looks like i still have a long way to go huh!! SOOOOO i asked him to draw another picture for me and guess what he drew.... ![]() so much for not specifying what kinda clothes i want =.= FUN FACT 101: guess what! apparently almost all the friends that i made friends with in signals camp are actually avid gamers. HOW AWESOME. its like once you talk talk and when it comes to the hobby part we go, "oh im a gamer" ho ho ho everything changes man! then conversations begin to last for eternityyyyy. ah that makes life so much easier! *claps hands* |
