Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

hahaha this happened such a long time ago but it is only now that i actually do a blog post on it! well this weekend, im working on a 20-card-thick MTG 3d card so...i dont think i will be doing those 5card-thick ones..hence i wont be posting anything on that! this post features the outdoor side of the Garden's by the Bay. :) Before it actually opened, i watched the mini documentary on Channel Newsasia on how they actually made the whole concept and just by watching it, i was REALLY impressed! all those hardwork that was put into it, especially trying to keep plants that cannot be found in our region! i spent one day at the gardens by the bay, along with mum and as i walked around, had some snapshots of the interesting place! i seldom appear in any of my camera's photos -_-"' while loads of my photos can be found in mum's camera instead. lolol! got this free day off during my block leave when i left BMT and was waiting for my posting :)come along with me on the trail that i took for the outdoors! later i shall post the indoor ones. ya gotta pay in order to enter the indoor conservatories! but it was totally worth it. (y) ![]() this was the very first thing that i saw! well they are the particularly familiar "super trees"! i absolutely LOVE this idea! :D they actually pepper the sides of the 'tree' with wall-hanging plants. wished they could do it for the entire tree man..that would be really cool! ![]() it was really empty when we first entered as it was still pretty early in the morning! i think? Marina Bay Sands Resort can be seen, along with the Singapore Flyer. actually i am really really sick of seeing these two structures in Singapore...not that i want to see them too in other countries but..they seem too plain and not artistic. ![]() they provide these tram services too! basically these trams just keep circling round the outdoors. adult tickets are $3? or was it $5... its a pretty fast ride. 30 minutes? 30mins sounds really long but when they driving around and you are busy snapping photos and trying to find those interesting plants whilst enjoying those lush greenery, time flies. trust me ;) ![]() the trams go in a pack of 3! just like infantry soldiers in the SAF! basically the outdoor portion is further split into 2 main categories. 1. Heritage walk 2. (Something) walk that showcases interesting plants. *whilst on the tram...* ![]() OOoooooOOooooo i spot the HSBC skywalk! prepare to set yourself back by about $5? if you are willing to go up there. bahhh went up and it wasnt that good -___- ![]() quick snapshot of the chinese gardern! we took the tram for one full round, before going on foot to slowly explore the gardens. by the way, you can always hop back on the trams provided there is space and they are still operational. they close at around 3 i think.. ![]() ![]() what i like is that the garden has a very interesting 2 levels concept? i absolutely love it when you have people walking all over the place on like different planes rather than everyone walking on just flat ground. contours are goooood. ![]() ![]() ![]() oh yeah i have been so busy in camp that i have yet to watch the olympics...heard only the starting part of the opening was nice? ah read in the papers that there were loads of crop ups and my country finally ended the 52 year drought of no medals! man what an achievement! read about the South korean fencing incident. that was like a wow man. wow as in it was a really important second in her life. O_O ahhhh random thought while blogging. ![]() oh for this one, both mum and i was already on foot! this is the way towards the dragonfly pond. frankly speaking i didnt see any dragonflies there -.- cool thing is that the boardwalk doesnt have any safety railings! =D ![]() EVIL THOUGHT.... bring someone you don't like, feel free to bring more than one. 1. nudge the fellas into the pond 2. escape route in on the left and the emergency float is about 50m behind. 3. proceed to next photo, showcasing the escape route. ![]() you are on your own from here on. :> ![]() love the concept of letting the water flow down in the middle of the stairs :) how i wish i can do this to the garden at home! :D time to call the excavator!! ![]() quirky. ![]() so empty, so peaceful! :) :) oh the best part is that the garden is even open at 5am!!!! which means we can actually go to the city for a run at 5am and get to enjoy the fresh air! WOOT! oh but the conservatories wouldnt be open yet. and so would be the shopping. ![]() FOUND 2 DRAGONFLIES. YEAH. ![]() so white, so pure~ ![]() somehow the blurred shot of this looks better! hah this can be found in the western garden. oh those arcs and the colour combination~ cant wait when the plants grow full force and cover the top~ ![]() anyone spot the plane? ![]() such a cute lighting! :D imagine having a huge tree and hanging tons of these from the branches down, sitting down at the foot of the tree, reading a book under the warm light in the night. if only life was this good ;) ![]() heh..'coming soon' banners. these can be found around mainly the later half of the outdoor gardens? i guess they are not totally done yet.. ![]() WHAT SORCERY IS THIS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ahahah plant aint done growing just yet! ![]() have always loved these plants! so interesting! as in the trees. after walking around and finishing up all of the outdoor area, we headed for lunch! totally had no idea what to eat or what there was to eat in the first place! so we toured around and found some food! a comfotably hidden foodcourt that had a comination of lots of different food! they have texas chicken by the way :P no other fast foods. food prices here can get a little steep though if you eat at the higher-end eateries. ![]() the ceiling is actually just plain concrete but here it appears as though its totally white! lookin' good! ![]() oh whoops my sweet-tooth radar caught somethin'! ![]() they have a few of theese peppered around the foodcourt and they look real awesome!! :D rainwater can actually come in but it rains onto this pile of rocks so nope the customers stay dry. (y) i love the blue LED! makes it look so futuristic! always love this combination~ so feel like going on a lego rampage again~ this is where my ATM *ahem my mum comes in handy :P ![]() never seen this before o.o black in colour siew mai oh but it tastes slightly more bland than the original white-skin kinda. bland = less flour-ish taste. ![]() some may know, the chilli XO carrot cake. A tinch of unique taste. :) ![]() i took this photo because i have no idea why they actually have like this mini trough around the edge..prevent the water from getting onto pavements? ![]() ![]() hmmm? ![]() camera on top of a 'tree' WHAT SORCERY IS THIS. ![]() looks pretty real eh? :) you got me! ![]() i decided to get the annual pass for the entry for the conservatories because it seems as though i would be popping by a few more times! you just need to go to the conservatories and the skywalk thing for 3 times to break even! ![]() yes we are not supposed to pass the cards to each other -.- when we are not using it. hehe had some fun with the application form and TADAHHH! NEXT UPPP! THE CONSERVATORIES. the conservatories were a total shocker to me and i must say every cent was absolutely worth it! it is a MUST GO. total eye-opener to me, never seen anything like that indoors. wait for my next post! ;D |
