I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

BMT is over and now my army life has transited over to unit life. now its all about the specialisation of skills. Sadly, i didnt get into OCS. :( sigh! why? because of my injury! well so far its been over a month for my knee to heal but nope, nothing seems to be moving other than the inflammation subsiding. this knee injury seems to be REALLY serious! cuz even now, i am having problems with running for short distances and standing for prolonged times. kneeling and squatting woot forget em man! well basically at my knee joint, the two bones( i shall just call them the shin and thigh la) both of those bones are sorta misaligned? hurts real bad. long story short, old injury got worse, had a super bad fall onto the exact same spot, GG-fied.good thing is i saw the medical officer at jurong camp, and he decided to give me physio! hehe hopefully that helps a lot in my recovering :) previously, the tekong medical officers refused to give me physio. here is one of the papers that i got from the medical officer! well so now because of my knee, i am currently down pes from BP (which means pesB pending) to...pesC2L2! now for the paper that grants me immunity from physical exercises... ![]() heheh i kinda forgot how to rotate the photo.. hmmm cant find the option now. thats weird. so now whats 30SCE like? well SCE stands for Singapore Combat Engineers and one phrase to describe the 'job scope' of my unit? that will be jack-of-all-trades. definitely. this is the first time i am booking out from the camp, which means i have spent one week in it already! all i can say is that yes we are like saving private ryan soldiers, building bridges, demolition, fortification, mine clearing, etc etc all of these are the things we got to do whilst fighting just behind the infantry line. :) even though i have yet to experience much, man regimentation here is sooo much more than in BMTC! well thats of course since we are trained soldiers now! apparently, this week was really slack...i seriously think i spent more of the time sleeping? since i have a MC! well program-wise, of which i would not be doing would be...week 2, live range! i heard there would be demolition demos...hmmm sounds fun! :D like finally something that goes boom! instead of bang like the sar21 -.- oh and week3,field camp! what i heard so far from my friends is that 30SCE training can be pretty hard sometimes, but when we slack, its slack all the way. -.- heard field camp isnt gonna be easy since riflemen have to "chiong" with their Full Battle Order which consists of the field pack, helmet, vest. and for us, we have to do the same! but with extra equipment since we have different roles to play :) I JUST got my new special mail! from the US, ordered 2 MTG altered art cards and man am i so happy with the works!! i got 2 cards for my main deck, just to change out some cards and "improve" my deck to my liking. had to change some ratios :D absoultely loving these altered art cards and these are super hard to find in singapore :S ![]() this is the full set of stuffs that i got from the packaging, out from bubble wrap! ![]() these are the cards itself, in my card protectors. well this is just one of my works that i did before booking into my new unit :) i actually did this one as well as one replica gun. i will be posting about my new replica gun later. for now, i shall just show ya the 20-card-thick magic the gathering 3d card. i tried something different, combining different cards together whilst trying to get some meaning to the name of the card. here i shall put the new card first, then the previous 20-card that i did so that there is some comparison! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() next post i do shall be about how i made my replica rifle! some steps are like the "basic" steps that are absoultely required BUT i am just gonna post it for convenience's sake for the readers :) if ya are interested! i so feel like getting this...wish i could get back to lego but its soo expensive here in singapore.... :( hope i do my new post soon! :P see if i get lazy~ undoubtedly the most creative and nice sounding music video ever :) SUPERBLY AWESOME. hahaha finally i am out of pulau tekong forever! (well at least that's what i hope) its been 19 weeks....and finally after all those training sessions and wasting of time by waiting around doing nothing, i am finally done with BMT! woot! to me, the wait from 15th week onwards was way more exciting than the passing out parade yesterday. :) even though i got pretty badly injured after everything, im really glad that i had such an awesome bunk filled with awesome people to the brim! my my all those fun times that we used to have, especially during bedsheet day when everyone has to change their bedsheets and pillowcases..woot that was the time when everyone would fight over the bedsheets for nice smelling and looking ones! Today is the first day of my block leave and man it felt so good that i didnt have to be woken up! could just take my own sweet time..no rush at all! funny thing is in army, we usually wake up at...5am. today, i woke up at...about 7am? sheesh i guess army really changes your body clock! tried to go back to sleep, but failed. :P hahah what a stark difference as compared to the 10am-12pm wake up timing of mine when it was the school holidays! block leave is only for 7days..minus the weekends and its five days. gotta really enjoy these five days! well mum and dad were asking me how i intend to spend the five days and that i should have an 'itenerary' so that i can fully maximise this extremely valuable period of time. on the other hand i was thinking, nahhhh thats not my way man. i pretty much prefer to just let life flow along, just enjoy life. relax and slack without doing anything, get a good break from this fast paced world and just enjoy myself =) and so far...its really shiok! can really spend quite a lot of time on my piano and do some 3d magic the gathering cards! damn i need new piano songs. kinda getting sick of those that i am playing -_-"' due to my knee injury, i couldnt participate in the route march and the parade, so i have tons of photos of the parade! shall show some here :) i am so gonna miss all the friends that i have in Dragon Company, especially my buddy! super awesome trolling buddy i have man :> both of us trolling together was really fun! ![]() heheh had some fun with my Canon SX40 HS! its a really awesome camera with fun features (y) ![]() waiting for the parade to start took like forever! especially when you are in a zombie mode after having so little sleep for the night before. ![]() thsi is the first glimpse of my company! the front few rows consists of mainly my platoon mates :) had to zoom A LOT just to see them. oh and i had to avoid lotsa 'hairy obstacles' in my photo frames! ![]() ME AND MAI BUDDY! both of us have the similar injury so we pretty much went around everywhere together for the past 3weeks++. except the toilet. hmmm i thought there was a pretty girl seating behind me? will never forget the amount of hair he has! ![]() *still busy playing with the camera fun features* mini mini mini me!! ![]() the power of 35x zoom woot this really helped me so much as they were so far away! ![]() my family! ;) ![]() meh while the minister was giving his speech, i saw beautiful city scenery. :) now its time for all those fun shots with my fellow bunkmates and sergeants and my PC!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() THAT'S ALLLLLLL. ![]() HEAD INVASION. AHHHHH ha over the weekend, i decided to do some MTG 3D cards! i just get so satisfied when i see a card done and when it looks good. :) here are the pics of the 2 cards that i did!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To my platoon-mates, its been an awesome time serving the first part of my National Service with you guys, all the best to your future endeavours!
