last wednesday, we had interhouse sports carnival, and BYRON ROCKS! even though i seriously hate yellow, cuz it just looks utterly weird on me, but still i love my house! xP

congratulations to all the byron contestants who bagged a medal home last wednesday! for me, i participated in tug of war, as Chris told me he wanted to challenge me, so i gladly accepted the challenge! he was in Polo house though :P green house. sadly to say, i didnt get a chance to go up against him.. cuz even though he is really really dam strong, his team just wasnt good enough. it was a 10men tug of war and for a start, both sides required to beat the opponent in best 3. :)

starting, i had no idea how the competition was gonna be like. like was it gonna be tough? physically enduring?

true enough, the houses were really strong! X.X the first house we went up against was Darwin. they were pretty strong i would say, the match lasted for very long cuz both sides were spamming strength and stamina equally, so the rope didnt move -.- like it was just moving back and forth, back and forth. extremely burning for the muscles! especially my hands as i held onto the rope as tight as possible. after a long and gruelling challenge, we finally won the first two matches, which means we were able to run for the semis, for third placing and above! that match against darwin was the most tiring one indeed. the guys in front of me and behind were all biting to carry on and bring glory to our house and we managed to surpass the first obstacle!

well onto the next one, the match against nobel. this time, we were fighting for third placing. the loser would be third. well there are six houses, but some just didnt have the manpower to compete, so they backed out.

nobel was the fastest match for the whole of the men's tug of war competition. we beat them in just under 20 seconds! well this was our strategy. starting part: 1,2,3, go! we pulled all the way! really spam to the maximum, everyone working together as a whole team as we got to build better rapport with one another during the transition of matches :) and we won! just within 20 seconds! when we won, we just started to jump for joy! all the emotions just poured out.

well 3 minutes of rest time was over, and we were vying for first and second placing against Keller. gonna be a tough match man! afterall, we used up quite a fair bit of strength. once it went off, we begun to hold on defensive for a few seconds to test out their power, then we went all ahead and pulled! well till we were a little worn out, Keller begun to pull us back, and we nearly lost! my legs took all the brunt of the pulling force man :/ afterall i needed my arms more. so just as we were being pulled, once again, for the last time, we shouted and cheered ourselves on, unwilling to lose to any match at all and pulled all the way, till we reached the qualifying mark, we still continued to pull.

The rope tension loosen and we let go of the rope, we have won! :D the whole team went around each other, slapping both high fives to one another, the feeling was just so powerful! Everyone felt so tired, so worn out, but yet we know that we have put in our best, and have definitely earned that shiny gold medal of ours! :)

nevertheless, i definitely gotta thank God for allowing my muscles to heal in time! 2 days ago, i was gyming damn intensively, causing all my muscles to ache, till 1 hour before competition started, i drank up a packet of Milo and guess what? i was good to go! so yes i now definitely have lots of faith that last minute prayers do work! xD God is always there to help, its a matter of asking, and how sincere your asking is :)


here it is, my good hard earned medal of mine, couldnt have done it without Jesus and my fellow tug of war strong teammates! Byron rules!

Tomorrow, im gonna have tug of war! well im representing my house, gonna go up against darwin, hope we win! actually i have no idea, cuz i have not been paying much attention to the other houses :P

argh! my muscles are still aching! really pray hard that tomorrow my arm muscles would be perfectly fine man.. not to mention, i am in serious need of them! T.T sadly to say, our PE teacher is gonna leave us...tml first thing early in the morning is the first period of the day, but our last period with him :( its been definitely such a great time with him! not to mention i am just becoming such good buddies with him! T.T

anyway, i cant wait for Festival of Praise this coming friday! so many people from our school are going to indoor stadium and actually, i have been praying that Jolyn and Xin Ping can accept my invitation for Festival of Praise and they rejected it! >.< because they are already going...-.- should have asked earlier eh? well maybe i shall try asking my economics teacher Ms Chang, tml hahahaha!

well i have been really busy with vaious commitments and school nowadays, so i seldom log on, other than msn..and facebook, because they are so accessible on my itouch on the go! well blogging can sometimes really get a chore when you are doing it on the itouch, so i shall only do it on my computer! unless i really do see the need to :)

welllll i really hope our house Byron, can go against Polo for the men's team, cuz i wanna pit myself against Chris! :D hes really good man, so im sure its gonna be a fun day tomorrow, all the best for my house! go Byron! go go Byron! even though i hate yellow, but who cares, wohoo!

well life is like tug of war, the going sometimes do get pretty tough :/ and you gotta put up a good fight to come out stronger!

well how i wish our news can show more responsibility by addressing the issues that they once brought up. afterall, every story has a closure, has an ending, and i feel that it is only right to inform the masses about the conclusion of the story. Clear up the misconceptions within society instead of causing more, untie the knots in our social fabric instead of doing the contrary. If you make a mess, you are responsible, clean it up.

Life has been so evil to me lately! well nowadays, my schedule is always so packed up! and often do i come home feeling so tired, i just play the piano and not blog xP heee that explains why i have not been blogging for a long time.

well remember that time when my mum came back from China, she bought me a razor mouse! how i wish i have more time to relax man. apparently im always busy with something. not to mention, the carnival is coming up in 2 weeks time and i gotta really step up my training for the tug of war! BYRON BETTER WIN MANNNN.



this mouse is seriously good! really sensitive, so hurray as i can get to play FPS games better! :D



this is the picture of the pen that saved my econs essay, and miraculously made me write a really good economics essay soon after that! :DD on the right side, is the swarvoski crystal cross! :) mum got it for me. haaa but i have not found a way to hang it yet :P

oh yeah! my phone is kinda crapped up, would really appreciate it if someone could get me a SATIO MUHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa.

and DESPICABLE ME ROCKS!! i wanna watch it again! 3d!

come to think of it, its been ages since i have gamed. maybe thats what i feel haha! this is already the third week since i have been not gaming, and i am not because im spending time with my friends, such as with my wonderful connect group with jael as the leader! as well as esther's connect group! wohoo! time is definitely more well spent with friends than with gaming :)

well im really rushing for time now, so i shall blog tomorrow! my com is PMS-ing, so i cant upload the photo, that was meant to be a sneak peak T.T

okay seriously, it was till about 6.30, did i figure out that today is wednesday! before that, i kept on thinking that today is tuesday.. T.T haha yeah i know it sounds freaking dumb!

today is also the first day i get to head to the gym! (but i still had to worry that i reached debates in time) i was with Chris, Leslie, Kian How and Charlene, then i ran for say 800m? LOL not even 1km cui liao, aka freaking tired! oops its just a lethal combination of studies and eating and sitting down that caused me to be in this shape! :( darn the mid years!

after gyming, i returned the gym keys and i actually lost my school uniform! i had totally no idea where my school uniform went! it was just like *poof! GONE. so i went round and round and round the grandstand, the gym, the PE staff room and the toilets. no uniform! T.T

then i thought maybe my friends could have taken it, so i went to ask them, but no luck T.T

in a last minute desperate attempt as i was late for debate by 5 mins, i went into the PE staff room one last time and Mr Kwok saw me and he asked me if i lost my uniform! then of course i said yes! well i left it on one of the teacher's table by accident and he helped to safekeep it for me! :DD

early in th morning 8am, i woke up on time, but dad reached home late! so i ended up being 15mins behind, the time i usually arrive in church. i have a sudden urge to serve! :/ shuks man i really hope i can continue to improve in my studies, really need that good results!

Knowledge is the the best wealth we can possibly have. (what Dr. A.R. Bernard said in church today)

T.T ARGHH i dont mind if you flood me with knowledge of music but not math please! i dont mind for the other subjects though :P EVEN CHINESE AND PW IS BETTER THAN MATH!! seriously, i hate math for two reasons. 1. its just 1-9, x-z and 2. i score damn badly in it.

Today's service was awesome! it was by Dr A.R. Bernard, and it was so informative yet easy to digest! :D and yup it has definitely benefited me, allowing me to construct more conclusions on certain problems in my life :) well i hope it has been beneficial to others too!

the song Lion by macross frontier, the one that i have been wanting to learn all the while, is seriously killing me! :( i am having hell with that song man. the whole problem is that the starting of the song is really boring and i need to get used to the tune of the song. so its like ARGHHHH the starting part of the learning is seriously boring man. plus the notes are so high above the set of lines in the score sheets! ( i actually have to hit almost the highest note on the keyboard ) and everytime i see the guy on youtube play the score, i become green with envy, greener than Hulk -.- it seems to be really tough man. cant find anyone else on youtube playing the same scores! X.X

anyway, today i found out that i am in Jael's connect group! well i changed connect group. went to Funan IT Mall today, really felt that it was a good and well deserved breather from my studies, finally out of my home outside with friends shopping! yeah! life isnt life unless there is socialising man :P i will literally die without it..

once again, the books and papers are gonna smash into me like a tsunami once again, but until then, i really hope i can get to enjoy this short break that i have been yearning for!

once again, i pludge into the pool of thoughts of mine, in search of more answers.

hahah i am finally done with my exams!! when they werent over yet, it felt like eternity. and now, i think its gonna pass real fast! :P

the last paper i had was chemistry, and last night, i just couldnt sleep! its always like that for every last paper, whether was it last year's exams, or my O levels, its always the night before the last paper that i cant fall asleep! and that feeling really sucks damn bad, especially when the paper is gonna be a morning one! woa that can really freak people out man. guess time would have been better spent staying up to study >.<

omg feeling so tired today. after chem exam, it felt as though i didnt even know anything about chemistry! even when Alan asked me whats Enthalpy Change of Formation after the exam, i actually couldnt think of the answer, even though i knew the answer! later on i asked him the same question and he couldnt answer it too! xD
