Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

haha actually, i wanted to blog like a few days ago but because of me feeling tired and sick, i kept on forgetting to blog! argh! well at least now i remember haha... well i am in school now, the idea of updating my blog just so happen to flash past my mind :) well i am in project work class now, some vendor thingy, gotta pratice the oral presentation. still so fed up over "that thing", nothing gotta do with school. Just done with my written report. bleh stil doing the written report, so many last minute changes that mdm Teo ask us to do, so i guess no choice, got to really get it all perfected. haha i have already gotten over my retaining thing, now is not about harping on my bad results, but working hard for my next year promos!! :D well this is just a quick update, so i shall not update any pictures for now, i will when i have time! :) really hope so badly that i can attend this year's Venture Conversion Camp haha!! really enjoyed myself last sunday, finally got a chance to go for fellowship as well as serve in church! that was like the happiest day of this period, i wonder why i am feeling more tired now than before the exams! shuks man it happened again im not talking about my results (which was horrendous) im talking about my life. cant tell ya what happened, but yeah. sort of feeling....suicidal bah. so many problems, BIG ones. today, we had CT lesson and teacher asked us to write our feelings about the class breaking up as in disbanding. well my stand was no. the class is already so closely bonded together and disbanding will definitely be demoralising to everyone. definitely in one way or another, next year, we would be reminded of our broken up class if it gets disbanded. after that we had PW oral presentation, so so lah. nothing that much. had the vendors to comment on us (even though i think the teachers can do the same and save our money) well, still feeling down and worn out, i wonder why i am feeling even more tired than compared to before my promos. thats kinda strange. well finally! i bought a PSP Go! i was so in need of one, especially when my PSP1000 is chipping off, the UMD cover is half unledged and my toggle is crapped up. i bet definitely Leslie will know how it feels like when the toggle is spoilt.finaly after pleading with mum, she let me buy one! :D so i bought a pearly white one and its really nice. at first i wanted to buy a paino black one, cuz on the internet the black looked less glossy. however when i tested the psp out, white was still my preferred choice. afterall it was sort of sparkling! http://www.pspgoprices.co.uk/images/hardware/psp-go-white.jpg oo after that, we went shopping round Funan IT mall, had a super hard time looking for the screen protector la! actually we found one shop selling, but it was kinda expensive. ($20 for a cover) So we gave up. Then, mum wanted to get a new pair of specs, so she went to Queensway Shopping Centre, well she managed to find her specs, we had a really tough time choosing the design for her la. Coincidentally, we found a shop selling really cheap PSP Go covers and casings! so obviously we bought it down and it looks good! after that was one hell of a time trying to solve the internet networking problem from my PSP Go to the internet, up till now i have not solved it. And i was also juggling my PW at the same time! Mum let me download one game, so i chose the Burnout Dominator which is quite a good game, not to mention the library for the downloadable psp games are really pathetic. well finally i managed to get everything up and running! so now, i have a fully functional PSP Go! :D :D :D its been so long ever since i wanted it! its a really good buy, just that we have to wait for more games to be published on the online store.
Review
I bought the Burnout Dominator, for me, i would rate it 9/10! its a really good game especially if you like burnout revenge on the Xbox. the bad thing is that you cant crash traffic like you can in the xbox version nevertheless, there are so many stages to play from, ranging from really old cars to the new ones that have been recently produced. I find this game like the Gran Turismo but it is way cheaper (2 times cheaper) but it has less cars and maps. if you ask me, its either burnout legends or burnout domination, no point getting both. The good thing is that they have different set of controls, so if you played burnout revenge on the xbox, just switch the controls around and voila! you have the controls just like the xbox controller. Gameplay It has really ancient cars like some 19's car. but they have cars all the way till this century, which means its rather up to date! O.o and not to mention the game requires time to manufacture plus distribution, i must say the cars are really recent, so you can kinda relate to which sort is your favourite car easily. The gameplay on the PSP is totally no different from the PS2 or the Xbox, and since its available mobile, then why not get the game! afterall you definitely know you are having a safe buy and you know what you are buying. Cars compared to that of Gran Turismo, obviously this game has way less cars! gran turismo has close to 800, and i estimate this game to reach less than a 100 cars i estimate. Whats so good about this game? the part i like most is the burnout counter where your burnout one reaches max will turn blue, then all you need to do is hold it down, dont let go, and try and gain enough boost to fill up the whole bar, then your burnout gets a counter of 2,3,4,5.... afterthat, you are a total killing machine. escpecially for road rage, its really easy. Happy Anniversary to my sweetheart darling! well its already one year and six months! now i am feeling soo old...its been so long even since we met up, i guess it kinda feels like an eternity without you. good luck and all the best to your studies!! must do well for o levels!!Woot! today, we went to the Marina Barrage! as part of the learning journey. i took some pictures, but my phone is not behaving! so... i guess i cant upload the photos just yet. well there we took class photo on the rooftop garden of the Marina Barrage and i downloaded them from facebook! thanks to Yan Ling who provided the pictures :) ![]() the trip was really interesting, expecially that mock up model of the barrage and how it works, its kinda cool. i wonder how is Singapore's skyline gonna look like in 10 years time!! hopefully our church building can be part of the skyline. so looking forward to it!Labels: school Tuesday, October 13, 2009
well yes i am back to school! (even though the hellish days of exams are over)JC life seems to be more interesting than my secondary school life! well its more interesting, but not really more fun. well i bonded with my sec classmates way better than now. :P yesterday was the best day of my life! i actually met up with my good old friend Caleb! :D :D :D this is soooo rare. Yesterday after having anime drawing classes, i took my usual bus 966 home, it was one long ride. plus it was rainy. well to brighten things up, my long lost best friend appeared! i was overjoyed! Can you imagine meeting in the same bus?? Same timing? how rare is that! it also so happened that he was going to his friends house thats why he took that bus :) luckily i managed to get his contact once again! :D YAY!! today we had sports day, and tomorrow, we have learning journey again, but this time to marina barrage! i heard its humid on top O.o gonna check it out! its like so near to my house if i kayak home -_-"' but oh well i will have to mrt home instead Labels: school Saturday, October 10, 2009
well i dont really know what to blog about, have been really busy playing the PSP game Ace Combat X, which is like super nice and addictive. well i am currently reviewing the game in Gamespot, here is my review on it :)Ace combat is really worth to buy as it boasts great imaging quality and its very realistic :) i have been playing the game throughout ever since i bought the game and i must say they should have a new version for this. this game will definitely please all the plane lovers out there. the missions are fun and they are not too tough, but some of them can really keep you on your toes~! this is not like after burner, where you can only veer to the left and the right. this has many controls and requires some time to get used to it. There are different mission paths to take and obviously different paths will lead to different rewards thus usually you have to complete the game a few times in order to get every plane unlocked and available for purchase. it seems to be somewhat linked to japanese anime, where they have cutscenes of japanese anime people speaking or whatsoever. The aircrafts, special items(Armaments like missles) and parts that area available for experimental crafts have to be purchased through credits, earned after every mission. you get quite a reasonable amount of cash so its not too much to ask for! one aspect of the game i find really cool is the ability to svae the replays of the previous missions you play and the replays are available everytime you finish or fail a mission. there are about 10 different camera angles which includes cockpit, 3rd person view, on ground and missles. the missle one is like the camera follows the missle that you shoot out. missles play a very big role in this game for the start and you cant possibly survive without it for a start. later on, the machine gun in my opinion really seems to help alot, especially when you have a really good upgraded experimental craft. Free Mission Mode: well this is playing individual missions on their own, really good for clearing the special unit and ace of the map in order to unlock specials. the missions are only available if you complete them in campaign mode. Multiplayer Mode: the game also boosts multiplayer option that is able to compete against your friends, minimum of 2 people, maximum of 4. there are numerous ways of competing such as dogfights and so on. What i like about the game: It boosts good quality and real-life scenes Loads of unlockables (Around 30 aircrafts) Special colour is available for each colour Loads of different weapons and special weapons that can be attainable by shooting down the ace of every mission Able to hear the enemy radio so you kinda know what is happening for your enemy :) usually it kinda becomes chaotic for them. able to save replays of missions and they have it about 10 different camera angles, really cool! haha!! finally my promotional exams are over. all i can do is to wait and see the results...in the mean time, destress!! today is the first day i get to stay at home throughout, same goes for tml!! :D thats because i have no exams~!hmmm wednesday, went to buy a new PSP game! its called Ace Combat X, seriously good game to get man. worth every cent of my $49.00!! i am like kinda addicted to the game for now, bought it on wednesday but i played it today :) today i spent time tidying up my organised mess all around my study table! uh sort of..tidied a lil. spent more time cleaning the shelves and stuff :) then went on to play Ace Combat X till i already completed the game once, then now i am gonna complete it again for the second time yawn...its damn damn fun... if you are a plane lover like me, all the better! ^^ here is how the game is like! well what you see in the video is exactly what you get. its really cool, especially when you can hear your enemy radio too! graphics everything is really good, love this game totally. game play isnt that long for one mission, but the controls needs time to get used to :) weapons and aircrafts are good, the maps are fun! but the missions can get quite hard. spent like 2 hours on the mission i find hardest but up till now i haven pass it yet. T.T there are many alternative ways to complete the game :) Labels: Holiday 2009, psp |
