this is part one of my celebration, there is a part 2 later on!! decided to split it up due to the massive photos i have to upload. :P
Part 1 consists of my birthday from early in the morning till the time i went for economics tuition! then part 2 is after my economics tuition!
i guess maybe there might be a part 3 for the birthday gifts part?

i celebrated my birthday just yesterday! looking ahead at the coming 364 days makes me sick! haha!! anyway i took TONS and TONS of pictures! not only did i take alot of pictures, my mum took more pictures! at least i have more pictures of myself! thats kinda rare...

okok lets see....starting early on a saturday morning, i went for piano lesson! yeah till like 10am?

after that, since there was no cell group, i spent time with my family! even if there was cell group i would have chosen time to spend with my family. i seldom spend time with them and wouldnt it be more meaningful to spend your egg-crack day with your family?

in the afternoon, i headed down to... uh went to eat dim sum>? wished the gundam model store opposite was open. anyway after that, we went to drop my bro off for violin, waited for him...

ok lets fast forward this part.

after that, we met up with my cousin Jane and my auntie for a meal at swensons! and the food quality was TERRIBLE!! had the half chicken thingy, chicken was so hard, service was okay. the food the food, overly priced, such sub standard shoddy work, just something put together haphazardly. here are the pictures of it, and i even have a video on it! oh yeah there was the cutting of cake too!!

ok now this is part 2 of my celebration! thats after my economics tuition la.

it was kinda rush, as we went to esplanade, Max Brenner. wow the chocolate there was awesome!! i brought lots of pictures along, so do enjoy them!!

firstly i felt so welcomed when i was waiting at the entrance, we went there at like 11.10pm, last order is at 11.30 but the whole place is still so packed plus there was a queue behind us!

i had the sukkou first! as a chocolate fan, i have quite high standards of chocolate as i have tasted so many different kinds of chocolate! so lets see how good is their 'sukkou'. basically, this chocolate drink can be chosen either in dark, milk or white chocolate flavour! i chose dark!

then came this dunnno what food. it tastes really good!! it is like a cupcake, just that there is hot chocolate fudge inside. when you cut it open, everything just oozes out. yum yum!

then came the brownie, which was served warm, nice to eat, pleasing to the mouth, ok ok la. it isnt that wonderful either :P


this is the hug mug! actually its called think uh....italian chocolate. i think... its really really amazing! when i was stirring, i noticed hwo nicely blended the chocolate was! they added quite some bit of milk too....so most likely its gonna be milky, smooth type, not so much of the watery and powdery ones you can snatch off the shelves or those offered at food centres.


thats me! and the hug mug! lets get a closer shot of it on how you are supposed to hold it, its really hot! so i took super duper long time before i cupped my hands around it. when i took this picture, my hands felt so hot still! its really really piping hot! X.X

yup! all i can say is max brenner is the saviour of the day!! the shop really sells top grade chocolate, and the best part, the quality of the food is so nice! and so is the service! if i work there, i am gonna finish up all the chocolate!! MUHAHAHA!! hmmm maybe i should look for a suitable contact photo for my facebook now. see ya!

today, i finished my GP exam at 9.30am! wow it felt sooo good. plus it really felt as though it was the holidays! how i wish that we can have a really good holiday. Anyway i cant wait for tommorow!! its gonna be my birthday! lets see who is gonna wish me happy birthday first!

Dad fetched me home from school and on the way home, massive jam on the PIE caused us to change our route home using SLE, passing by Seletar Airbase. due to good whether, i was treated to nice views!!

i don't know why but i am just so amazed by how planes fly, especially carrying massive loads!

after that comes the boring part. PROJECT WORK GPP.... did up the timeline and voila!
okok carry on. Parents brought me to Cafe Oliv, its a nice place to eat! good ambience, good food...yeah just that i found the food oily today. too oily!

The MAIN COURSE: Half Shell Scallop Pasta!! it didnt taste that bad...or that good either. just neutral. it was really really oily at the bottom so eating the last of bits, i felt kinda strange in my throat. X.x


this is DESSERT! ok the cake like thing is called "mudpie", its icecream :P then there is coffee...


the mudpie looks more appealing to the eyes than the mouth, but overall, it is still a job well done.

after having a really filling meal, i find that the found overall is good, maybe....around 3.75 out of 5 stars? wasnt that fantastic, but pleasing to the mouth! the damage coming from the bill didnt really come out that nice....

wow my legs are aching! uh! thanks to the 17 rounds (17x400m = 6.8km) we had to run during rugby training. dont think i ran so much before. im not the atheletic sort, musically inclined. studies also too lazy to do homework, only do homework for subjects that i like or when my passion for studies blankets my laziness then yeah i will do homework.

feeling really tired out, shuks friday is going to be my General Paper exam! luckily we are only going to be having essay questions...so thats pretty safe! sort of....

anyway i took 3 videos of the sun roof in the Jazz car! i tell ya the view is "wow...." especially after it rains! i decided to whop out my handphone and take a video!! afterall thats the main reason why i chose the cybershot phone that weighs a ton! x.x

oo today was such a rushing day! rushed for piano early in the morning, then followed by cell group, which was kinda short pop by kinda thing.

wow guess what, when i was going to leave cell for Chua Chu Kang MRT station, sarah couldnt make it and later on, deb said she couldn't too :"(

reached school at 2pm to prepare for my performance, apparently everyone else was already there! oops.

when my friends could not turn up, my sweet darling arrived!

so touched that she went on the internet to find out how to go to my school during the night before and she actually made the effort to come down and watch my performance secretly when i told her to study or rest at home!!

Yup! my performance was a success! i played before the GOH arrived as well as during prize presentation. hmm i played 4 pieces, Pachabel Cannon in C, Shinkai no Kodoku, Suna no Koe, and one more piece that i cant remeber the name. wow i am so happy my performance came out as a success!! was so nervous lor. Damn scared i will screw it up. i wasn't nervous till i sat on the chair and wait for my turn! looking back at the crowd-filled hall, i started to feel nervous!

woa after that, met up with her, had to sit throughout the whole thing, so yeah nearly fell asleep if i want chatting through smses lor.

i would like to thank the beloved teachers who praised me for my performance! so happy!!

anyway after that, my darling and i went over to Downtown East to Cheryl's birthday. i am definitely not going to play dai dee anymore! humph lost so many times and needed to shuffle everytime. my cards were so lousy!!

ok anyway i am really tired out now, gotta rest! (play com) so yeah! seee ya!!

guess im just heartborken, down and out.

i just dunno what to say, all i can say is sorry, but its a word so simple it does not hold any meaning or sincerity in it. thats saddening.

X.x i guess this is the best face that i can describe myself now.

lets see, first thing in the morning, i had piano!! that was like for 2 hours.
During lesson, exam pieces are like ok...... sort of. Yay! finally i got the River Flows In You by Yiruma, wait or was it yurima. hmmmm..... aiya anyway after such a long time, i finally found the piece!

ok after that, i had a huge confusion on whether to go for cell group, or to go for project work group discussions. I did up somework over last night till into the wee hours, passed it over to Jo, then i sat down and think in front of my large bowl of "mee pok". should i be going for cell group? or should i be going for group discussion, afterall the GPP idea came from my preliminary report and i have the most knowledge on the background information.

Today's visit to the Central Library was soooo fruitful la! we finally managed to clear each other's doubts as well as find more info on our conservation animal! yeah!! it was one hell of a find lor. totally no info on the internet encyclopedias. we also didnt find any information on it from the tangible encyclopedias found in the references section in the library only leh!!

In the night, went for tuition! i didnt know my tuition teacher likes to gossip! This is so cool..... hehe lidat can share more gossips! shuks man i never gossiped in secondary school, non that i know of, but i think i am becoming a gossiper! oh no!!

oh yeah oh yeah i met Jasmine, um Daphne, eh.....Sandra, uh.....noooo i forgot her name.....oops so sorry. met them at bugis! went out shopping with my darling for like an hour or so after project work? yay! finally i get to see her! i see her like once every 2 weeks. so cool! i guess singapore is a really small place and Bugis Junction is the place people in the east love to go to! the last time i went out with my darling, i say wan peng and haziqah!!

Really hope i can go for the June Scout Group Camp, as promised to my darling!! humph i better do well in my mid years man. slacking in term 2 thanks to all my sicknesses and commitment have left me a big load of snowball to clear.

yay! i would like to congratulate our rugby team in being able to win the plate finals!! wohoo! good job man! the match scores are so close! 5-7 won by just 2 points! wow. cant wait for our turn to come!

anyway, today had rehearsal for college day performance, kinda spent the time sitting around. felt too brain dead to start on any tutorial or whatsoever. yeah i have 3 pieces to last me a total duration of 10 minutes!! not too bad, when playing the piano, time flies... when i am not, time just seems to crawl all the way.

after rehearsal till 6, mum fetched me home in the Copen! so obviously i chose to open the roof! if you get the chance, why not>?!

ok i am doing double posting, cuz its 2 different days!
this one is for monday, stayed at home, was supposed to go for project work meet up but later on it was cancelled. so yeah. studied at home, kinda boring, but it was ok, had the piano to accompany me!

during lunch time, my mum cooked for my bro and I! its VERY RARE to get my working mum to cook for us. i thought she was going to bring us to IKEA or something. its like 80% we will go there when there is a holiday.

this holiday was also a very good break for me, needed a breather after trying to catch up on the stuff i have been missing out, one period of time i was just tired out, so kinda missed out tons during the lectures. still trying to catch up!

this is the beef rendang that was surprising spicy! so spicy lor! drank up the whole cup of honey and i still needed more! it was damn oily too. X.x no good...spent so much time dripping out the oil.

no matter how, i still love all the food! cuz i know there was love put into the cooking of the food...
how i wish my future wife can do the same. or even better! i like homecooked food what.

well today is saturday, and its already night! tonight is the first night i am having econs tuition and definitely, i will not be changing it! timing's perfect, venue is conducive and learning takes place so easily!

today, i felt so free! but sadly to say i still had to wake up early just to go for piano lesson and managed to get the right tempo for my performance pieces. Gonna play Pachabel's Cannon in C and Shinkai no Kodoku on College Day!

Apparently Shinkai no Kodoku, tempo is alright, not is perfecting on the feel and the dynamics of the modern piece....then it was Pachabel Cannon in C which was the main problem. the performance piece was so much slower than my speed when i played the song! so i had and is still having a hard time changing my speed is a slower speed.

plus after not practicing for so long, i am having a hard time getting the feeling back!! shuks man! oh no! i just remembered my tuition has test next week! wow i just started like today? O.o

this is getting damn retarded! late for school 2 times already plus i have NEVER been late for secondary school. well now my school is sitting about 2 hours bus journey away from my house and even though my parents fetch me to school, there is a possibility i will be late if a traffic congestion crops up. :X



today, a tree fell across the road on the BKE and it was terrible. 2 out of 3 lanes of the road was cut off and i was stuck in the car while traffic was not moving! An idea shot across my mind: getting down the car, sprint off to school by foot. then i remebered we were still far away from school and people are not allowed to ven walk on the road shoulders so yeah....stuck. plus my bladder was nearly full. then my teacher called! to think he was so thoughtful, he only asked for my temperature. -_-"'

reached school an hour late, still had to take temperature! WTH!!!!


oh yeah had a minister dialogue session with Minister Sir Heng Chee How!! will upload the materials i noted down during the session when i have the time! :P

ok this is how i spent my long weekend! friday was a holiday because of labour day, so i went for the Venture Leadership Training Camp, so as to be able to go for the group camp during the june holidays! afterall i also promised my darling that i will be present at the group camp. whether she spends time with me or not is another thing altogether.

well my expectation was a really "tekan" camp, which is those kinda camp where we are drilled like mad. apparently i think its like the slackest camp ever! actually there is 1 more that is slacker than this. in that camp i was the campstaff so yeah....relax!!

out of all the actvities i enjoyed backwoodsman cooknig the most! actually bernie, jun wei and me were all split up into the different exco's but we came together to cook! afterall our firewood was for sharing amongst ourselves. i prepared the food while jun wei and bernie went to get the fire starting!!



this is the "cake"!! jun wei started the idea from District Scout Camp! everyone loved it! even the seniors! muhahaaha! the power of Cuon Ventures!!
threw away my mess tin after that because the cake was stuck to it so badly i was just far too lazy.

oh yeah nearly forgot. the cake is the cause of the plaster on my pinky finger. apparently one venture swiped the aluminium foil at my hand and it cut into my finger, leaving it dripping out with blood. haha!



this is our firepit! the huge blog in the middle is the chicken, cut up, marinated, wrapped up all ready to cook!
the starnge white colour looking thing is actually an apple. we tried cooking it :P



after a DAMN long time of flipping and opening and closing, our chicken was finally cooked! the chicken was like HEAVEN.....just that it didnt shine light out or look holy either. hehe. thats jun wei in the green TP shirt and bernie in his blue OBS shirt.

the drumstick was yummy! ok the word yummy is starting to get irritating for me but it really was! maybe we were just hungry ba.
