Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

wooo im blogging super late as i am too busy adding all the contacts for facebook and msn....so now i shall FINALLY update my blog!!today was sunny! totally no rain, and we had classes for the start as we were given the timetable. ok i shall do all the talking, then post all the photos later on ok? (actually its not an option cuz im just gonna do it) must have some intro first mar~! videos will come in next time after i am done uploading them onto youtube. :D oo first up, we had our CT lessons, like what i mentioned above. then came the mass dance! today we learnt how to do the fun dance! yesterday was the cutie and mass dance! the fun dance was.....kinda squeezy.... there was a very tight limit of space that we could use. ok la add in pictures, then lidat easier for you guys to know how i spent half of my day! uh this was the slackest part of the entire day! this was taken after the mass dance practice, when we had to practice our cheers as a clan. hehe class wasnt interested to do so, so the guys ran off to the cafe and for me i just bought a drink and sat around. we were feeling all tired out! this was the part where we had the practicing of the performance for the night..... by then, we just got our orientation shirts and everyone was required to change into the shirts! it is dry-fit material, so its nice to wear, comfy too! size was just right! not too big, neither did i feel it enclosing onto me~! went back to hall for more cheering!! this is the part where all our hard work has gone into....an emblem made with over 90 thousand paper stars!! the whole J1 level as well as the seniors did this together!! yeps the theme for this year's oreintation: stellar evolution! then here are all the random shots during dinner!! the most hyper girl in the class: presenting to you our class cheer IC!!! oo we had performances after dinner!! each clan had a chance to take the stage! everyone supported each other's clans as well as the opposite clans. :D then we, 09S11 went over to the fitness corner and sat on top of the monkey bars! i took some pics before climbing up too! and as usual, i hit my head on the bars..... then we were asked to return to the canteen...so yeah. did more cheering la! and more cheering~! then we had class photo!! yeah! all wearing black! sam got tao pok-ed then i took a pic with my dance partner! hmm she's chelsy....so like whenever there is dance, we will be withthe same partner and dance! cuz all the dances need pairs, except for the fun dance i think. rmb there are 3 dances, the mass dance, the cutie dance and the fun dance! frist pic was kinda blur.... the second pic was much clearer! just that my smile looked constipated... -_-"' then lastly pic with the super duper hyper cheer ICs!! Today was the second day of our PJC orientation!! the starting was rather boring, it was only at the later part of the day when the fun started!we had mass dance at first, and we learnt 2 new dances! both needed a couple la. so i paired up with a girl to dance. PS one-third of my class are guys! so that means the guys are outnumbered to the girls. while we were preparing for the mass dance, the preparations at the field for the other half of the j1 students were being done up! heard there was going to be wet activities, and true enough, i got super wet! oo took a snapshot before we gathered into position for the mass dance! yeps the mass dance was gooood. cant really compare it with TP's mass dance. wonder which is nicer.... its just like 2 different genres? we had the mass dance, followed by the cutie dance! the cutie one wasnt that nice.... cuz there are so many turns till you can go giddy!! the mass dance was damn long... so it took me quite sometime to memorise the steps. up till now, i still do have lil' errors here and there! especially the criss cross part.... aiya only those from PJC will know what im talking... hmm another snapshot! done by who ar.... either huimin or chelsy. i dunoo..... O.o oo then then uh....pai seh i forgot the name of the person....super super paiseh. i am damn lousy at remebering names, give me an afternoon and at the end, i will definitely forget. coming back to topic.... she was sooo kind! she actually gave the whole class valentines cards! PS even to the gals!! oh yeah oh yeah the gal i think is the one in the middle of the photo...eh no. i think is the one on the left showing the "twist' handsign? ok some highlights of the station games. then we had other games, like spider web. thats the game where there are lots of strings around and you have to bring the person across. so while i was using my hands to crawl, once my legs were through, my friends let go. so the floor had a loud thud! haha! then i was alright, till now at home where my knee is painful :-X then there was one more activity, called chair-hopping. its like you have to use your butt and hop down the chairs? then people who finish hopping down all the chairs will put water bombs to sabotage the other team!! i still remember one gal who was too light and couldnt burst the water bombs! then there was once where i was hopping down and then i accidentaly hopped on all the in-betweens on the chairs...so the ends were sharp...and my butt seems to be painful now. X.x hopped too many times on the in-betweens..... Labels: Junior College Life, Valentine's Day 2009 Tuesday, February 10, 2009
lets see the last post i did was rather lengthy, it was filled with photos.... oh yeah all those photos were taken picture of using my 5megapixel handphone camera....videos still look good, but still a little blur if i move myself too fast!i suddenly think of my past.... To be frank, for my prelims and previous exams, f9 was a common sight for a few subjects. usually all except e maths and my languages. Nevertheless, i set a target of 10 points for L1R4 when we had the Adam Khoo Motivational Camp, i still remember vividly the sec4s '08 standing under the hot sun at the basketball court holding up our target. mine read: L1R4, 10points. Choice of institute, TP chemical engineering. then as i went on with life, i wanted IT security. Prelims was a total rubbish exam as i flung it totally. never felt good at all. was in the midst of salvaging my results by going for a crash course, tuitions all back to back, little time to break. i suddenly felt the urge to work hard and pursue my target. i want to get into my desired course! then, even though my prelims was really bad, it did not hinder me from my continuous catching up on my work. finally, when the day of O level came, it was kinda like a gamble, where i presented my answers for combined humanities differently, i tried out new methods of presenting my answers, i took a gamble and did argumentative essay for the Os, which was highly not recommended by my teacher, even though i could handle them. it was too big a gamble. luckily, i managed to finish all my O level papers, despite being totally unwell and unable to perform an optimum level, far below optimum level. i was totally sick and weak for 2 exams. had some kinda food poisoning i think. was stuck in toilet for what 2 days? both days had exams. everyday, no energy to revise, headed to bed. in the midst of waiting for my results, parents heard my target, auntie heard my target and their comment was : mad/crazy. how could a straight f9 student suddenly score 10points? if 1 subject gets a 9, i will blow my target already. upon the day of the results release, i got L1R4 of 11points, not that fantastic if i compare with my primary school mates who were already far ahead of me, but at least i know i am gonna catch up with them. yup, missed my target by 1 point. was a little disappointed my English got an a2, was hoping for a one. in the end, i am also not in IT security, even though the cut off point is a min. L1R4 of 17. so judging by my points, i was able to get into my desired course! now, i am NOT in IT security, now i am in JC! never did i imagine myself being able to don the JC uniform. so anyway even though this achievement may not be fantastic and just look mundane for some people, i find my results fantastic, based on my past records! so my mum awarded me with a new handphone!! that was partly also because my plan was up. so i managed to get my plan with unlimited sms as well as incoming calls! (ps my mum pays more than just a bomb for my sms bill, just my sms alone.) so yeps! got my new cybershot phone! and it comes with 8.1mp camera!! so now i can really take good quality pictures just with my beloved handphone!! *smiles!! MUHAHAA finally, this post has tons of pictures!!Today, i went for scouts in the morning, then in the afternoon i rushed over to Nicole's house, helped her a lil bit with the card making stuffs... then i had cell group!! cell group was rather interesting.... hmm then we had fellowship! Esther bought roti pratas and we had sausages too! then we played around with Musky, a dog who is sooo hyper. lols i was playing with it since an hour before CG started... oo today, i also rushed to the barber to get my hair dyed back to BLACK. hair was too long, so gave the fringe a trim. lols i took a pic of myself in the chair....with my hair all wet and slumpy. as i am typing this, i am still looking at my black hair....through a mirror. then i was wondering whether my hair looked alright... so i decided to snap a quick pic of myself. oo i also asked the woman to help me stlye... doenst look too bad... i think.. lols ANYWAY after that we headed to the coffe shop nearby, that doesnt look like a coffee shop cuz they just renovated...afterall there are going to have hotel boutiques nearby, so the people had training in services.. they suddenly turned into such customer-orientated. O.o ok so here are all the photos of the mouth watering food.... first one up! Hokkien Noodles!! Labels: Cell group, Family, outing Thursday, February 05, 2009
Wow~! i didnt know the last post i did was on monday....time sure flies when you are enjoying yourself!gotta say i love my current JC, PJC, just that it is impractical to be staying there for 2 years as travelling on the MRT already needs 2 hours, let alone the LRT ride and the Bus ride as well as walking.... ok let me explain how i get from school to home PS one way journey: 1: have a long but brisk walk to the LRT station.... 5-7mins 2: take the LRT to chua chu kang MRT station..... 10 mins 3. from chua chu kang MRT all the way to Eunos. 1hr50mins-2hrs 4. walk to Bus stop............................................... 3mins. 5. Bus ride to nearest bus stop outside home........ 10mins-25mins (depends on frequency) 6. walk home FINALLY........................................ 2-3mins totally them all up, the trip home is very tiring, thus i choose to study on the train and finish up the lecture notes for the next day. this is because once i reach home, i am far too tired to do work! lectures have already started, and i am starting to feel the heat from the students, all revving up for the A levels in one and a half years time. thats how much time we have to prepare to hopefully score As in our 'A' level. especially when we are not educationally inclined, i think that if we put in hard work and commitment, everyone can, as everyone is starting from ground zero, same environment, same subject. its all up to us on how we can stretch our potential. i know its getting really wordy and reading can seriously get into me...so maybe i can take some photos with my new friends i have made! then i will post em tommorow! afterall its gonna be friday already....weeks are passing by.... how i wish i have more time for relationship. its not easy to cope with the distance and lecture notes, plus the reading of papers.... geez life is never easy, not unless we return to historic times...or the medievel age... okie! as the title suggests, my first day in JC...which JC, the one that is located at the other end of Singapore, Pioneer JC. one thing is definite. i have to wake up exceptionally early and even though i did so, i was still late for school by like 10mins?anyway i nearly banger into a taxi as i ran across the road lols! the teacher got a fright cuz i looked as though i wasnt gonna stop at all. anyway tonight i shall share with you my first day in JC!! ok how bout the before part.... lets see. with my results i got for my prelims and tests i had in school, it was a definite poly path. oh yeah no pics today, was enjoying myself too much. hehe! oo today was orientation day and one of the days throughout my entire life that will cause my butt to ache. so lets say today's start off was rathed butty? (PS there is no such word i think) the principal talked alot, so did the head of departments. that part, to everyone is neccesary yet boring. super boring and painful (to the butt and legs) after that, we headed off to the school tour as we were led by our OGLs, i have no idea what it means. uh the students were split into like classes? called OGs. we were grouped according to the subject combinations that are available to us i think. then after the school tour was the most interesting part! we got to play games with each other, obviously ice breaking games! it was rather fun, only at the later part where everyone decided to open up more, then did the fun begin!! later part of the day after our lunch break came the singing session.... i mean cheering session. i wanted to shout and become hyper, but the quiet surrounding just wasnt able to cheer me on, so i was quiet. when the whole crowd is quiet, the songs are so soft till its like ppl whishpering... so its super tough to be hyper even though the OG leaders at the back were so supportive~! with one hyper friend, we finally could open our mouths big big and sing! ok after so many words comes my what reflections? overall, the school, Pioneer JC, though far still is a very nice place to be in! the 'nice' word is only for the friends i have made so far within the OG and the OG leaders that have been so sporting and keep on trying to push the OG together, even though we are still not that familiar with one another yet. so i would like to wish all the OGL all the best in bringing the OGs together! As the title suggests, time flies.tomorrow and i will be on my way to Chua Chu Kang to Pioneer Junior College. My school is at one end of the island and i am located at the other end.... its gonna be tough going home after a full day of orientation, i dun even know what time it ends? plus i still don't know where the toilets in the JC are located! Wahaha! Luckily, i am slightly familiar with the area, though it seems so alien to me. how i wish my school friends can join me.... how i wish my appeal to TPJC can be a success.... still waiting for the phone call... other friends have gone to courses and JCs, looks like 4E2 2008 has become a fragmented class. cant we just get together and enjoy life together like how we did for the past two years? gee no one else from my school is gonig to Pioneer?! luckily, thank God for my british council, my 6-day orientation wouldn't be a bore i hope, as i found out that my friend is going to the same JC! hmmm will i be so integrated into the JC till i dont feel like leaving the JC? or will the distance cause me to change my mind and hopefully find a nearer JC? only time tells huh haiz how i wish relationships can always bring happiness 24/7! hmm looks like when you staart one, then feelings of jealousy will arise... feelings of love will appear... no matter how, love changes one's life. dont you think so>?
