Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.

well tonight, i just found out that one of my friend from British Council is going to pioneer JC, i really hope that i can get into Tampines JC.... afterall its so much nearer than pioneer JC that is located in chua chu kang. but for me, i still do not know whether pioneer JC or serangoon JC is better. through aggregates, pioneer is better. but distance wise, serangoon is far far nearer.well i bring some chinese new year photos, and im just posting them for fun! at least now i know going to pioneer jc wunt leave me without any friends! then sometime in the night, of which i forgotten the date, family and i went to KFC at east coast, the dunno dunno what playground smth lidat. i should sasy KFC standards has DROPPED in chinese: "yi luo qian zhang". the chicken is hot from the over as ever. bleh its too hot i mean. hmm bought the 'fortune meal' which didnt really come cheap especially without free flow of drinks. so its more of 'misfortune meal' instead. lols. its not THAT bad. just find that KFC should provide drinks in meals. uh the fortune meal consisted of these two stuffs... anyway, today, i went to eat the famour black pepper crab with a pissed off face as i was still pissed off over the distance to pioneer jc..... its so sian when you think of the end of the day, you need to take LRT then MRT then bus home. what time do you wanna reach home by then? so its not feasible to go to such a far JC everyday.... here are the pics of my dinner! enjoy....muhahah Labels: Chinese New Year, outing
ok i got into PIONEER and i am super pessimistic about the school
all thanks to the DISTANCE...... one at one end of the island. the JC is at the other opposite end the SURROUNDING...... totaly unfamiliar how to TRAVEL.... totally no idea how to go there. only accessible by LRT FRIENDS..... sadly to say, none. why i chose THERE..... no idea dun ask me. overall, -10/10 for pioneer, haven even seen the sch in any pic. maybe i can find out more about the school first before giving a better score. not worth going all the way there, spending 2 hrs or more just to go to chua chu kang two times daily. haiz for me, i personally dun think it is worth going all the way there everyday, waking up so early and then going home so late. oo this was for last night, where dad brought out JAP FOOD! wohoo! im a total jap guy, so yeah... my wardrobe is mainly jap clothes too! oo thats my bro lazing in front of the TV!! he only poses to me everytime whenever im about to take a pic of him! hehe now is his second pose! look look! then i decided to make my bed, was sweating it out as i was sweeping the leaf-stricken car porch, so i had to wash it later on... water the garden... slipped and nearly fell so many times. my slipper is super duper lousy on wet surfaces. then i also washed up the kitchen area.... watered the garden at the back and the sides too. oo today, i went to do house visiting! here are some pictures that i took during the home visiting, lols they are just pics of the oil paintings that my paternal auntie did. she is so good at painting man.... then came the lunchtime reunion that i ate with my paternal auntie and her family. here are the pics! ate so much food! i was so full..... chatted alot with my cousins!! first was all the 'bai nian' where we give good blessings to our older generation and our older generation give blessings to the EVEN older generations haha! i got to say i have been very very busy during this chinese new year period, so i have very little time to blog. finally, i have found time to blog! i took lots of pictures during my celebration, but they are mostly from one event only as chinese new year as CNY is the time for families to gather once a year and chit chat while eating together! so obviously i was too busy talking to people till i forgot to take pictures.oo i had dinner with my paternal grandmother at the soup resturant, that is located at Seah Street, just next to Raffles Hotel. first up was 'lou hay' i think i spelt it wrongly. pardon my lousy dialect. anyway it is called 'yu sheng', its loads of i dunno what put together and chinese will use their chopsticks to lift the ingredients high up into the air, sort of a tradition for good luck adn prosperity. okie after all the words comes the photos! i took quite alot of photos. these photos were last night's photos! omg omg dad said in chinese "ok can serve the food already". guess what, all the food came like a train like that! walao eh non stop de! the whole table was like full and i had to keep taking pictures. lucky we didnt order those with loads of servings.\ bt the time the time this fish came, i was more or less bloated... cuz i actually ate before meeting my parents, oh yeah forgot to mention that i went with my darling, nicole and her friends of whom i just forgot their names for the third time. ps i suck at remembering names! the outing was like fellowship, afterall we felt wierd as we couldnt see our church friends on sunday, so nicole planned a movie! yeah! i more of enjoyed the accompaniment of friends and my darling! it was so rare for her to join me! usually we only meet like once a month.... today is already the 19th of january, barely two weeks left to the release of the posting results....and its barely one week away from the Chinese New Year! haha its time for the teens to collect our annual bonuses!oo today, nothing that interesting, expected the newspaper man to come. as in the garang guni man! uh they are people who collect unwanted newspapers for recycling. Mum asked me to clean up ALL the toilets in the house.... ps there are 4 TOILETS IN THE HOUSE! and after slacking for so long, i am not used to working.... hehe so i only cleaned up 2 of em. afterall, the toilets needed constant scrubbing like crazy as they were neglected over the month! hehe obviosuly when it comes to cleaning the house, it got to benefit me first. so, i cleaned my own toilet first! i made sure everything was sparkling clean and my reflection could be seen! next up was my parents' toilet, as afterall they always use the toilet and if you want to make them happy, the most obvious way is to clean up the stuff that they always use as it impacts them the most. so i headed to their toilet arm with pails and cleaning detergent! well i was shocked when i saw my parent's bathtub man! take a look.... so i scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed.....scrub till i actually managed to sweat like mad! X.x luckily i had a whole bottle of Gif in my hand man! if not i will have to stinge on the remaining cleaning detergent :P so this time, i could afford to spray the entire place with Gif!! yeah!! shh....dun tell my mum hehe lols afterall i didnt use that much....i think. cleaned the walls and scrubbed the bottom of the tub like crazy, slipped and fell so many times all thanks to the soapy place. hehe anyway i am already used to it! ps used to pain till its nothing to me, think my nerves got destroyed or something....hehe Labels: Chinese New Year Sunday, January 18, 2009
there is only a week left before chinese new year reaches! wohoo~! so has everyone bought their new year clothes?? i bought mine during my japan trip! so that means i have enough clothes for the 2 day celebrations! cant wait for the ang baos to come rolling in! *daydreams....OK back to my life! lets see....today i went out for fellowship after service....i had lunch with cell group....chatted with em and left for home as i needed to clean up my house before chinese new year arrives! well its like a tradition kinda thing? oo first thing i did was wash up the kitchen.... parents and bro were also helping out with the spring cleaning! after that, i nearly broke my fingers while cleaning this man! afterall i was on the phone with my darling and i wan sticking my finger in and out of the holes. gee sounds so wrong. ok anyway, its hand carved wooded what bed? so i had to clean all the dust filled gaps and the legs of the bed was terrible man. mum said "we never thought of cleaning there." so.... it was one whole thick layer! OMG. next thing i did was clean up my piano! it was a little dusty at the top, overall it was still clean as i use it everyday and i ususally use it for about an hour a day. so it should not be dirty.... ok anyway, i cleaned it a little, then i vaccumed the whole house, i missed out third floor as i was too lazy. plus the vacuum cleaner rolled and bounced down the stairs from 2nd floor to first floor?? plus it banged into the walls so many times.... it rolled over so many times... fell down the stairs so many times too.... today, i went to the Volvo Ocean Race as a scout and the race village was so much emptier than expected!! i think its because today was reserved for scouts only. i saw tons and tons of scouts plus there were no other tourists or locals there...sadly, my darling couldnt join me as she had her CNY preparation. afterall she is the MC....what if i appear all of a sudden!! ok back to topic. here are the pics of the race village! oh yeah. then, we went for the presentation kinda thing where the people showed us more about the race and the history behind it, plus the person doing the talking didnt really make it sound so interseting..... anyway here is the trophy!! anyway after that, we got bored and the pre-ventures, bernie, alisa, stefanie and I decided to go over to the other side of sentosa form where we were, sentosa cove. we then took a tram to the siloso beach... where we walked on the beach and just sat there. before i went to buy a bottle of beer! :D took some pics of the beach as we chatted a little and just walked around aimlessly.... today, i went to my mum's office!! thats because i wanted to find out more about IT security as well as head opinions from other people on which path to take for my tertiary education. so i spent one whole day there till mum logged off!anyway, i am still pissed off with blogger for not being able to detect my photos properly and anyhow arranging them, so that pisses me off as i cant rotate the pics! oh yeah, i took picture of my mum's SUPER DUPER KADUPER(dont think there's such a word) but anyway its super messy! see for yourselves.... well she has her own personal partitioning.....so its like you got a room all to yourself, just that you have to share the air con! :D you see, i am not so popular in her office till i have to see everyone till its all back to back right? so what happened was that i was free....nothing to do.... so i saw an eraser! then i saw a penknife! then i cut cut cut slice slice slice.... TADAAA!!! then i was bored again....so i made a paper aeroplane out of a small sheet of notepad paper!! it was like so cool? anyway....had fun making it, totally had no idea what to do at first, just followed my instincts and i got it out! first thing's first, Happy Eighth Anniversary to my darling!oh wow i didnt even get to see her face, just talk over the phone.... shuks man. today had to visit Singapore Poly so as to tour round the campus and find out more about the school environment. then as usual....last min have to attend to stuffs.....so cant go to the upcoming Volvo Ocean Race with me on this friday..... just ahve to hope that she can go out with me during valentines. PS its on a saturday. anyway i will be going with bernie! i think. O.o lols ok enough with the sad part, now is the stressful part: tonight, i am going to have to make my choices for my next level of tertiary education: poly or jc? should i follow my parents' advice or heed my own conscience? i went to SP, as i mentioned earlier and i found the campus nice and big, convenient too... the only problem is that it is quite crowded. another thing is the size.... TOO big!!! hmm another thing i didnt feel comfortable with was how the blocks are arranged.... the schools are like all scattered around, so it isnt like TP where you just branch out accordingly. other than that, the place is nice, quiet at some places, nice... oh yeah its super windy too! oops thats only when its out in the open, when you are walking around the buildings, its so humid. X.x another that kills me are the stairs.... TONS OF em. no matter how, i end this wordy post with a thank you to deborah for bringing me around SP and happy anniversary to my darling!! oh yeah. just in case you dont know that i just finished my o levels, now im telling ya.well i did much better than expected from a student who doesnt bring textbooks and does not do any homework in school. first of all, i gotta thank God for giving me such good results! ok here's my result slip.... anyway mum was happy that i managed to score well at last! so she decided to bring the family to eat at Kushin-bo, a japanese buffet restaurant! it costed 50 bucks per head, super expensive but it is worth it, even if you offer me an option to have 2 buffet meals at Sakae Sushi, i will still choose Kushin-bo!! i took tons of pics, so please enjoy! ps i seldom have so much time to blog as i am currently busy choosing schools... after that, i zoomed off and took the food! anyway i ate like 6 servings of these by myself! they were under the luxury items that people was supposed to queue for, but as we paid extra, we could order and it would go straight to our table! then i suddenly changed my mind and ate up another bamboo clam serving! bamboo clam rampage for meeee~!!!!! anyway i took more pics, no idea where they went, too lazy to find them too. so....yeah. bye bye!! need to return to crack my brains over my next form of tertiary education. see ya! *head bleeding Labels: O level |
