Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

IF ANY REQUESTS TO PUT UP ANY REFLECTIONS OF MI CCA ACTIVITIES, PLS CONTACT MIII>>>>(NO PICTURES COULD BE TAKEN IN THE CAMP AND THERE WASNT ENOUGH TIME EITHER)
DAY 1: Today, i went off for my Patrol Leader Training Camp with my scouting freinds, Jun Wei, Bernie, Chun Kai and Zadkiel. We arrived at Ngee Ann Secondary School and we took a bus to Surimbun Camp, which was a scouting site, away from civilization. (Singapore) On arriving, we had to split up into groups. There was 1 PLTC camp, 2 subcaps, and 6 patrols, each divided equally amongst ourselves before proceeding with the program. After declaring the camp open, we got scolded, as we moved too slow and did not answer questions together as a group. We then carried on to the next activity. HIGH ELEMENTS. We had to take off our blets, and wear on protective helmets and harnesses. We had to spend the whole day doing high elements, as there was lots of to do and many people had to wait for a long time. We did a total of 4 high elements. The day's activities comprised of the luch break and the allocation of domitaries. We had to sleep in dormitaries as the following day, we had other scouts coming over to our various patrols and we had to use our skills to lead them to build the campsite. After the late dinner, we had to bring a poncho or the next activity. At last, this was my favourite part. CONFIDENCE WALK. We had to walk though Chua Chu Kang Cemetery alone and all we had was a tiny ligthstick, about 3 cm long. The sky was particularly bright that day and soon, after walking approximately 500m, i reached the end point. Upon reaching the end, i reported to the person in charge and then found out that he was my cousin's friend. I settled down near my patrol members as i had to do patrol in council meeting, which was a time to deiscuss about today's activities and bring pending matters to the higher appointment holders. by the time we arrived in camp, it was already 2am. We then decided to bathe, and settle some last minute adjusments, before heading into our 10 person tents to sleep. DAY 2: Today, we had to wake up early to do our morning physical training. We were puntual, but the leaders were not. They had to sleep very late at night, as they had to plan the activities properly before the day started. We soon saw the saturday campers and we had a "lesson" of behaving oursleves before welcoming the campers. They consisted students from primary 4 to school teachers. I was the parade commander and as the group was quite big, i had to shout louder than normal, and after the morning ceremony was done, my friends congratulated me on the successful ceremony this morning as i never did with such a big group of people before. We carried on to our campsite, and had to transport the equipment to the site, which was approximately 80 m away from the shed. I had to take the heavy stuff as mi members were too young and did not have enough strength to carry the equipment. We started off with the kitchen shed, before doing the rest, as the kitchen shed could hold our belongings in case of rain. The site we were allocated was muddy at the bag, therefore, many insects and blood leeches could be found. ants were the most of all and the bad news was that they were bulldog ants, a type of ant that once bitten by, it will hurt for days. We carried on with the building, while i appointed one of the members to be the cook. He had to collect the stuff to cook and ensure we get to eat before 1, as we had to meet the organizer and compile the activities we have done so far. The rest continued to do the moving of items while the camp participants continued with other activities. By the time we were back, we had to build the tentage. It took quite some time as we were lack of man power after one of us had to see the first aider. I soon managed to get the tent up, but not up to standard yet, as it was a standing sheet. We had to spread the sheet out as far as possible, so as so allow as much space as possible in the tent. By the time our member was back, we managed to finish the tent. We moved in the wood boards, as they were our sleeping "mats". We standardized all the bags to be put at the top of our heads, so as to use it as a pillow. We found many blood leeches on the tentage and an ant hole just in our kitchen shed. After eating our dinner, i had a private talk to the first aider, regarding my patrol member's sickness and allergies. He was allergic to mud, and that he had really bad rashes on his legs, not allowing him to walk properly till the end of the camp. I was then instructed to help to look after him and to monitor him 24/7. I also informed my subcamp about my member's the problems.we continued with the improvements for our kitchen shed and tents, as we had to construct camp craft on the following day. Camp craft includes a bin, clothes line, and a shoe rack. We managed to clear all the extra equipment we have neatly under the kitchen shed by the time midnight fell and we had to bathe, before having patrol in council and then, i had to meet the camp organizer, to report to him the happenings and the thinking of my patrol members. We then went to sleep, after discussing the plans for the next day and the days activities coming up. It was a successful day and i am very happy! I think my patrol members share my same sediments too. DAY 3: We had to wake up early todae, to tighten the knots of our campsite. many of the knots would definitely loosen after a day or so. We then dazingly went to wash up, before energetically starting our usual morning physical training. After that, we had to continue with the doing of our camp gadgets. I was later called out together with Zadkiel, and we helped to move the tables and chairs around. It took us quite some time as we were lined up with activities and we were interrupted sometimes. The chairs are quite light actually, but what made us tired out was that the chairs had foldable legs, and after introducing weathering to the chairs, they were cranky and rusty. Many of which was spoilt already, but due to the shortage of chairs, we could not help it but help to repair them. We then went back to our camp hastily as we had to do station games and for some reasons, we were 1hour behind time!! That never happened before. We had station games in the evening. This time, my member got kicked in the face, as we had to support a pole, while the rest climbed on, to the top, to put their scarf. We played other games like transporting water without using our hand or legs but our mouth only from one to the other (using cups). There were a few more games but i cannot remember. We then headed back to the campsite to receive the food for dinner and as my patrol member started cooking, i had to do the flagpole and the retieing of the knots for the tent. The rest of the members helped out too. The night ended shortly and we had a peaceful night. We were in the middle of our sleep when we woke up abruptly, as the leaders annouced a fire drill exercise. We had to wake up, wear on properattire and assemble 110m approximately away from the campsite. Everyone arrived, but almost all was late. We even forgot to bring the pail with us to "put out the fire". We had to redo the whole thing and it was tiring as we did not have enough sleep and we had to run a long distance. This time, we assembled on time and with our pails by our side. That night was terrible and we did not have enough time to sleep. This was going to slow down my patrol's progress, which will then cause everything to lag behind time. DAY 4: Today, we had to pack our belongings and pack up the campsite before leaving at 5pm. We still had our daily morning physical training and those participants had to gather for a meeting in the afternoon. We took out all our belongings and left them out in the sun before dismantling the camp gadjets, folowed by the tent. By the time we were done, we had to eat lunch. My patrol members helped out to dismantle the tent, while i went for a meeting with a scout from the Scout headquarters. I went on to help out in the transporting of the equipment before leaving the campsite, leaving it cleaner than we entered as we had our own motto whenever camping and that motto never changed. That was to keep the place cleaner than it was after leaving the place. We then sat on the bus and headed back to Ngee Ann Secondary School.
