I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

Its been so so long since i've last played an xplorer war as i was overseas! War was just yesterday but i am still feeling the fatigue from it and from the activities on the days before. currently am at suntec city starbucks blogging about this! in fact, i am just done blogging on my other COM125 blog! well its an assignment on the history of the internet, FIRST POST. I didnt really know what to write though...so who knows whether i'll change it or not~ Here's the link to my other blog! It's actually kinda interesting to do blogging as our weekly assignment, a pleasant change, as compared to the usual essay-based assignments. HAHAHAH okay my loadout, or whatever i am wearing is a massive clash. I am still waiting for my new gears to arrive but in the mean time.... LOL my vest is just the usual one from army, black top because it is cooling, desert pants from the US army, i have the top too but was lazy to wear it. next time! aaaand my beautiful XEliminator which did not fail me at all in the war. Although at one point in time i thought it jammed but actually not. and that white bicycle helmet that belongs to my dad was a last minute grab-and-go because i didnt have a proper rig to film with my gopro! Guess i looked quite out in the open~ well that's what you can do when you're quite out of range from your opponents! fatigue. i am still feeling the tiredness from yesterday's war and the days before. I have been sleeping for about 3-4 hours daily which isnt healthy the least. And having to wake up everyday ay 7am... nahhh. I was out drinking till late on thursday, friday i had many many errands to run and things to clear, of which then to top off my week, Xplorer War 9 on Saturday which surprisingly took a really long time! I was shocked when i checked my watch as to how much time has passed when the war ended. It kinda feels sian sian or sickening when you realise that today is sunday and that the weekends are already coming to a close. and then the whole mad busy week starts again bleah! I will post the video of the war after it has been consolidated and edited!! it feels so good to finally have a breather, being able to do something so different from my usual schedule! and more importantly doing something i really like :) and a big thank you shout out to Monster Energy for sponsoring our event!! This is the first time we had so many people to war with, and it was a really awesome time as we had lots of beginners too! everyone really joining in and having fun, some serious moments when we have to move up and flank the enemy and all and also times when we keep joking around. We also tried new game modes, learnt the field better as to which are the better spots to hide, etc etc as this is our second time playing on this field. What's most important i guess is the strategy and teamwork. The first game saw very little teamwork, and it seemed to be more like a pair work thing whereby those confident in their buddies worked together. Whereas in later games, there was improvement in strategies, although some parts we really failed spectacularly xD xD It's a really good learning opportunity for every one of us to improve :) It's funny how this situation always occurs. Leader shouts GO GO GO! end up the leader runs ahead with no one providing cover fire and running up at the same time HAHAH and then up comes the "oh shit" situation. There were times when it was a mad hectic situation to bail teammates out of the firefight and all! Communication is key in ensuring that the objective is met. Here, someone tried to shoot me and hit my blaster (luckily) instead of me, hence i had to change to my sidearm which is the teeny pistol that i am holding! when getting pinned down, comms back to your team to let them know! i just cant stand my outfit. -_-"' In this war game, my XEliminator saw lots of combat, and it got a bad crack!! HEART PAIN but oh well, battle scars are what we call em. but it was gooood. Lots of new scuff marks on my blaster now and its like how each scuff or scratch kinda tells a story of what your blaster has been through. Guess i'll need to be more careful with my blaster :/ Now friends know me as the shooting guy xD so whenever someone wants to play these kind of shooting things, they come to me. Sadly though, my friends coudnt come for this war :(( another time i guess! i am really looking forward to having more people join us in warring, dressing up and being all prepped up! there is really so much to learn out there when you are battling your friends and many experiences to share too! You get sweaty and dirty, especially when you bash through the shrubs and forest area but thats all part of the game eh! When you are at the location and playing...it really feels very different from our usual life, always facing our smartphones or whatsoever, shopping, buildings. But its more of taking away all of those stuff and trying to gun down your foes which is the fun part! When to move where, all these takes experience to learn! and lastly, when you are warring, your blaster is really YOURS like you know how it performs best and all, haha to some extent, its like...your girlfriend i guess! (maybe thats why i am single) Here's a little hide-and-seek game for you to spot the person! ALL PHOTO CREDITS GO TO HENG FROM XPLORER. THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO TAKE SO MANY PHOTOS WHILE WE GET TO ENJOY THE GAME! |
