Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.

SOOOOO we're FINALLY back at suntec convention hall!! you know i passed by the place during friday as my bus runs through that area and i saw the HUGE screen on the first floor! Absolutely boss man. i mean just how big can a screen get?! really eye catching man. What i found really surprising and heart warming is the "welcome back" message that was put up on the huge LED screen! Guess it must have been a message from the tenants at suntec :) the screen is about 3 floors high? but since its a convention space, i think it was 2 floors high! damn i just realised i didnt take a photo of it. while my instagram and facebook is filled with people uploading their photos of it -.- ah great.
ANYWAY, last sunday's service was soooo good! hah somehow i got reminded of how i used to argue with my classmates about whether is monday the start of the week, or sunday. i dont know why! but its monday! right...? happy youth day to all those young ones in secondary school and jc! i seriously thought we didnt get to celebrate youth day when i was in PJC. and now bro is slacking at home, monitoring my desktop that it is currently botting all the games while im in camp typing this out :P so apparently Johanna's brother is also a nerf fan! with lots of nerf guns, however he never ever had a single nerf blaster that is modded. plus now that his birthday is coming up and he wants a modded nerf nitefinder....HMMMM....but he asked me to mod his maverick too. so i am still wondering what should i do for his birthday! you know like how for every birthday present from the cell group we have a certain budget? the gifts that i get tend to either scrape the top of the budget, or...overshoot it! surprisingly, even though the modding of nerf guns can get quite expensive, i notice most of the cost is because of the gun itself, whereas the materials required for the modding is pretty alright, will never burst budget. :) unless im doing some insane mods. which wont be the case! well in some cases...yes the cheapest thing in the modification is the blaster -.- but for these presents that i am giving out, they are not extensive mods and also to ensure there is a great amount of playability! :)
OH MY GOD i totally deviated off topic. coming back to coming home, sunday's service, which was the first in a year ever since we had to move to expo while suntec was under renovation, was awesome! :D i'm really really glad that Jolyn enjoyed herself for the service! THANK YOU JOLYN FOR COMING DOWN!!!! >.< and we had to wake up really early though!! Since i was also serving as an usher. really really packed service, all the way up the terrace area and balcony area where the elevated seats are at, and the whole place was just bustling! the atmosphere was good, the songs we sung were almost all new!! OH and the chinese part for the praise and worship songs WOAH THAT KILLS ALRIGHT. i was like blabbering half the time #disgracetochinese i dont really have much of a problem conversing in chinese, but if you ask me to write or read chinese, it suddenly becomes quite alien to me. SIGH. in the army, i find myself conversing in half chinese and half english. yes yes i know its terrible to be doing so. oh wait maybe slightly more towards the singlish side but oh well. whereas in JC, i find myself conversing more in pure english/singlish! not judging that "oh JC is more up there than army" or what, but rather, just an observation. oops deviated again. OKAY so what's so good about suntec convention hall? i havent really seen the other sides like the hangout place and stuff, all i have seen so far is the logistics area (since im an usher), the main hall and the children's church! and they are AMAZING alright! what i love about the convention hall is the acoustics man. hands down good. you can really hear yourself so much better as the sound bounces back so much better! whereas expo hall isnt meant for holding such events, so the sound pretty much gets absorbed into the roof, then we can barely hear ourselves during praise and worship especially.
what i am really keen on doing though, is hanging around suntec area, similar to expo style? whereby my subzone packets the food from the various food courts and what not, and we can find an open space and hang out! the food courts are really really crowded over at marina square since we clash with the lunch crowd too. The shops arent all open just yet as renovations isnt a 100% complete but given the amount of open space available at the convention hall, i wonder where are the limits whereby we are allowed to sit around and congregate! At expo, we sit around the atrium area since its empty most of the time, however if there are events, then its harder to do so. plus we cant stay past 6pm. so... lets see if there are any restrictions this time round. :) since, Suntec convention hall is our home, yeah! (y)
i'm glad to be back home.
