Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

earlier in the day, i blogged about my shoes being all worn out, and over dinner, me told parents about my shoes! at first, i was kinda expecting quite a lot of scepticism from them since army already provides us with shoes. ack but those get worn out pretty fast too huh. i love to wear a shoe for as long as possible. you know, its like it hold the memories of all your past running experiences. :) so earlier, my shoes got really worn out and unexpectedly my parents were pretty open about me buying a new shoe! its been so long since i've bought a pair of running shoes..gee these days, it feels as though the grace of God seems to be exceedingly strong on me! :P praise the Lord!! its like sometimes i will make those kinda lame/stupid prayers like "God, how i wish the bus can come nowwwww" and then my bus appears :P hahahah! that kinda thing! its like sometimes everything seems to be so smooth flowing. Like instances whereby i dont have to wait for public transports, or like random gestures of kindness that really helps me a lot :) really really, thank God that these little bits of awesomeness in my life actually brightens up my day :D just when labour day seems like an ordinary weekday. so.... yup! i can now say goodbye to my old shoe and hellowwww to my new pair!
what happened was that at the shop, i was looking at another model because it had a 30% discount! (miraculously, the asiscs shoe shop had a sale!!!!) gosh im somehow on a saving money spree, so im really trying not to spend so much. such necessities like running shoes....no choice :/ luckily in the end, parents paid for it. HEHEHE. okay so with a 40% discount, the shoe i was eyeing for had a drop in price from about 279 to er.... about 190 odd i think? cant remember. then i was like hooooo thats kinda pricey! but thinking that since im buying a shoe thats worth 279, why not?! of cuz it wasnt a shoe that i liked.. just that budget wise and usage wise, it fits my requirements :) i somehow love love love shoes that are white with just simple designs, like my previous shoe! my previous shoe had really really good paddings, the back was so comfortable. this model i was looking at was a model lower? but its alright!
and then dad passed to me another pair of shoes that look really BRIGHT. it was like bloody fluorescent in colour. kinda not what im looking for :P but guess what! the sole behind is exactly the same like my previous asiscs shoe! so i was like WOW yes!! i was searching for that pair of shoes but couldnt find it! i bought my previous pair from queensway for a steal, at about 280? basically at that time i kinda robbed that poor salesman. so now here i am looking at the kinsei-4 shoe. everything obviously fit my requirements and it bore a resemblance of my previous shoe. true enough, after searching my blog for the photo that i posted earlier today, my previous shoe was the kinsei-2! :D so....YES! but one problem, the price was pinned at 369 D: NO SHOE. *HOPES DASHED* so what happened was that after numerous try outs of both models of shoes on the treadmill in the shop, coupled with the constant persuasion from both my parents, i settled for the kinsei-4!
but the story doesnt end here alright, lemme show you the photos first :)
its quite a big change in terms of the colour huh! i wonder how is the shoe lace gonna fare, so far, my past asics shoes give the same problem: the shoe lace knot kinda unties really quickly :/
hmmm the side markings of my old shoe obviously got too worn off! so there is no way you can see the model, unlike the new pair. but the new one really looks very different huh! gone are the days when shoes had those usual "boring" colours.
AHHH there i took a separate shot because all the while it was under yellow lighting. warm yellow is like really homey but when it comes to taking photos....BLEAH.
OH YES. and just when i thought dad had to fork out 369 bucks just for the pair of shoes, upon scanning, by the grace of God, the shoe had 30% off! :D :D even its price tag didnt label so! WOOT. and the salesman also thought that the pair of shoes didnt have any discount. hehehe so in the end, the price dropped to about 250 odd? wohoo! that is sooo much more reasonable and moreover, the price is closer to the pair that i bought at queensway 4 years ago :) PTL PTL PTL. i never expected myself to be able to get this pair of shoes :)
and if you are wondering what is the colour of my shoe, here it is! :)
how to put my shoes to good use~
