I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

OKAY what in the world is wrong with me?! i keep posting about army stuff nowadays. sheesh! i notice this trend about myself man, and that is i tend to go on a rampage on Lego postings, then rampage on plastic modelling posts, and then on to church stuff and now its like the season for army :P frankly speaking, i dont really exactly feel like blogging about army, but somehow i just end up typing this post! oh well i guess i must have felt compelled to do so after knowing that a batch of recruits just passed out from BMT. I think the idea of the floating platform is really good! IMO its really convenient, and its pretty scenic, if it doesnt rain. of course its like some hell routine for those who hate the usual NDP squeeze that one has to go through if they go for the National Day Parade, cuz its something similar but hey! that's cool.wonder how it is like being a sergeant taking the recruits, since BMT is so so so so different from unit life! i got reminded when i was outfield last week. Cant say much about my outfields, but all i can say is that i find it enjoyable when i get to go outfield once in a while, garang garang abit, you know, getting all so sweaty and dirty :D okay okay im a signaller in the air force so i dont really get THAT dirty. just a little bit since im in 3DA, a GBAD unit. haha at first when i passed out from BMT, okay not really since i sustained a serious knee injury of which up till today, my knee still aint symmetrical (sucksssssss). ah, it actually healed, but i fell at the pool and bam it got knocked out again. like seriously. -.- unit life is really interesting man, as in it really depends on where you get posted to, but if you are lucky, you get to learn quite a lot and experience A LOT. like for myself we have heli trainings? even though im supposed to be on the heli but yet it seems as though there isnt enough space, we get a pretty good amount of exposure. we have loads of different outfields, and each one has its own challenges :) although my job stays pretty much the same - man the comms. its fun its fun! for those who are gonna get their posting, lots of people are like "ooo stay out is good, you get to go home everyday!" but really when i am in camp, its also quite enjoyable when we spam monster hunter or movies during the night :) its not that bad....unless your camp sucks. then YEAP of course i would recommend to spam medical appointments :P i used to go for SAFTI physio, because of my knee injury. so on a typical day with a morning medical appointment, i see myself running out of jurong camp at like 7-ish, hit the physio place uber early, get it over and done with along with a gym session since their gym is so damn freakin awesome. oh btw its the physio gym, not the usual gym thingy. all those quirky machines start poppin up. after that, i get to run over to jurong point and SLACK SLACK SLACK. go shopping, walk walk around, enjoy seeing civilians, buy bubble tea, WOOT. nothing beats that man, if you are talking about a camp that sucks la. my current camp has a really positive environment so i dont mind being in camp! althought of course being outside would be good too! like now :P you see my exercise ended kinda late on friday evening, we barely scraped past the no move timing. and our officer told us to book in on monday afternoon instead!! HOW AWESOME. i actually get to slack at home, not having to rush, packing my bag or whatsoeverrrrr. somehow the song, Reuben James, by Kenny Roger i think? keeps ringing in my head. you know sometimes the song keeps going on repeat till you feel like smashing your head on the table??? YEAH. You know what? imma try writing letters. the last time i received a handwritten one was like 2 years ago man, during my JC days. Whoah time sure flies D: now i find myself worrying about getting a placing in a local uni, and am still deciding whether to participate for NDP marching, given i might bust my knee again. and also whether to go for whats that thing called....exercise Wallaby! wow i didnt know air force units also get to go for such an exercise, armour, infantry, combat engineers. but defence artillery? thats new! :) i dont knowwwww. so little time to consider. sigh why is life getting so messed up! enjoy the Lego video clip! ack i havent been touching lego for some time, have been pretty busy with new plastic projects again :P i apologise for the lack of photos! >.< as much as i enjoy reading blog posts with photos in em, i dont have any for this week :( |
