I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.

Today started off as a pretty usual kind of wednesday. however, now, i find myself typing out this blog post in front of my computer at home! how awesome is that :P all seemed really normal about today. dragging myself out of bed in a hurrying manner after my usual daily alarm fails to wake me up.. i set my alarm at 7am, but i usually come out of bed at like 7.40am and i need to fall in for first parade by 7.50am. i am, personally amazed at how fast i can change up and wash up and yet be on time for first parade.
At about 11pm, while i was still innocently clearing up all my work, especially now that we are becoming increasingly busy due to standby force duties, there is a freakload of preparation that needs to be done. and then, my warrant officer (WO) suddenly asked the signallers, that which one of us stayed in the area of a deployment site! well its me! so...apparently we had an emergency situation, i had to rush down to mend the communication lines in that area because someone snapped the lines. ZZZ seriously....soldiers these days keep snapping our lines...come on.. so i grabbed my tools, had first priority to draw whatever stuff i needed from the signal store and rushed down to the deployment site to get everything up and working. how much time did i have? AN HOUR. like freaking hell seriously. who in the world can possibly lay a new set of lines and make sure that everything works with the underground cables within an hour?! so upon reaching the site, me as a signaller/occasional miracle worker, got down to the job. it was my first time being in that area, but i somehow managed to get the job done within an hour! like WOOT amazinggggg! PHEW PHEW. i was also shocked that i had to connect the cables that we normally use, D10 cables, to connect them to the conventional phone lines. i was like, cool. *stares at the different cables*
Nevertheless, to cut things short, ---fast forward----> my WO told me that i could go already! wohoo! it was like 3pm?! :D AWESOMEEEE and at the back of my mind, i was thinking hmmm....incek, the deployment site is so far into the secluded area, you are going to fetch me to the nearest mrt station with your car right....? :) i was WRONG. BLEAH. so i had to walk out myself T.T but hey on the bright side i still got to leave earlier. however on the DARKER side, it began to drizzle pretty badly :( no umbrella me had to walk a long distance, all alone, with trees along the sides of the road, with raindrops pelting on my uniform, out of the deployment site. sheeeesh it really seemed as though it was some heartbreak love story! tsk tsk!
but after getting out of that restricted area, my oh my, thats where my title comes in.
beyond the large opaque green gates, i was staring at a freaking taxi waiting for a customer. i mean not that i am angry about it or what, but i am pleasantly surprised!! i mean which taxi would be crazy enough to wait for a customer in that God-forsaken area? Unless he wants to kidnap me or something. not to mention, previously whilst walking that long lonely road, i was praying to God, that it would be just so awesome if a cab was actually waiting for me outside the main gate! :D hahahaha little did i know, God actually answered my "impossible" prayer. :)
So here i am, all dry back at home, typing this post out in front of my awesome and responsive computer. (the computer in my camp is waayyyyy slower.)
as promised, here are the photos of the overview of my lego project!
now i am free to skittle off for a nice warm bath. :)
