Proud to be a child of God, a faithful son (I hope lol) a trying to be hardworking student, a part-time worker, a nerf/milsim enthusiast, a crafting and music lover and an awesome friend. to you :) Hope you have an enjoyable time reading about my life, as much as I have fun living it! |

I am a university student who loves chocolate! Coffee is my best buddy when it comes to taking on my finals. I have a tendency to want to try and do so many different things at once and as a result, I've found my hobbies to be as such!
Nerfing is one of them, but aside from that, I also love arts and craft. I have my own startup, Thumbforlego at: where I sell my works!
I love to do all sorts of crafting, so you will see me uploading posts of my leathercrafts, thumbdrives, replica guns, nerf gun modifications and gundam models! I'm fortunate enough to be blessed by really supportive parents and given the chance to explore many, many parts of the world and try out a plethora of activities. This is also how I discovered my love for film photography, videography and piano.
The film photo above is unedited! My family loves cold countries xD. We managed to catch the northern lights twice!
I've also gotten the chance to experience many of nature's wonders
And my most freezing experience to date: riding a husky ski sled into the sunset (It was -38 to -40 degrees celsius and the huskies were pretty fast.)

Why 36000feetabove? This is the altitude that commercial planes cruise at and I have always loved the view up in the sky, being amongst the sea of clouds. :) Personally, my favourite favourite food has got to be airplane buns! Does anyone else feel the same way?! With a slice of butter and looking out of the window, I have yet to find an experience that can beat that.
After tomorrow, before today

ON SATURDAY, I SENT THIS CAR FOR SERVICING AND IT HAD SOME MAJOR ISSUES. of which i will talk about it later in the next blog post. doing a double blog post this time round.hahaha so this weekend was really really packed, however, i am really grateful that we had battery standown on friday! These weeks have been really packed with activities and trainings, like heli training, i would say.... a really really tiring week! throughout the week, i just somehow felt so drained. so you know the feeling when you have to work despite feeling drained? hooooo! everything seems to move so slowly, and your 'fuse' is so much shorter, getting agitated at the slightest of things. Frankly speaking, i dont hear of my friends' NS life being this busy o.o and i am a signaller, which is universally known to be slack xD well, me being a battery line signaller, i have to double up as a clerk and somehow, there would always be things to do. Oh God, i just remembered that tomorrow, i am going to be the only signaller in camp T.T GG-fied, i'm gonna have to tank the standby force check tomorrow D: SHIT. and that also means i am going to have to camp in office tomorrow... time to bring sticks and stones and set up a campfire in office. OH YES, recently in camp, i have been listening to todayschristianmusic.com/ and it has a pretty nice line-up of songs! i have this weird liking to wait for my favourite song (Our God is Greater) to be played on the radio, instead of simply hitting my itouch and playing the song xD hahahaha well on tuesday afternoon, THEY PLAYED THE SONG. yeah! (y) does anyone else in the world have such weird way of doing things? -___-"' Like finally, Red Cross came to my church to do a blood donation drive! CHC gave us a headsup about two weeks in advance, and i went to donate blood, along with a first-timer, Lee Ching!wohoo! Good job good job, once you donate once, then there will be another time, and another, and another! and low and behold, one day you would be too old to donate blood. oh yes, on that, a 56 year old woman failed to donate blood today. woah scary man, 56 and still donating. From what i gather, Singapore's blood bank is a little low on blood, especially for A donors. (I'm an A+) absolutely love the idea whereby Red Cross goes round doing blood donations, and they should do so even more regularly, in fact companies should be encouraged to invite them over just for a day or two over the year! That's partly because no one would want to travel to Woodlands just to donate a bag of blood. Already, so few people are willing to donate, let alone those who cannot donate, and with the inconvenience factor, it becomes quite a chore to donate blood. Give blood, Save lives people! My very first experience came when i was studying in PJC, pioneer junior college, '09. That was when the retainees helped to organise project AGAPE, a blood donation drive, which saw students flocking to donate blood for the whole day, until evening, when they actually had to be turned down because of the lack of blood bags! it was so astonishing to hear that they actually ran out of blood bags! since then, i have been donating blood a couple of times, in school as well as in camp. Yeah! they came to my air force camp, Chong Pang camp too! :) Good job red cross!! Can you imagine if an operation already needs so many bags of blood at times, how much more should we donate blood, moreover, it doesnt even cost us a single cent! Unless you're some crazy economist and start bringing in the concept of opportunity cost. PLUS, we actually regenerate blood over time so please donate blood when there is the chance to! People should also be educated about donating blood, prior to them coming down, like no caffeine the day before, no drugs or medications a week before, same for sex and HIV, blah blah blah. Anyway, blood donation took up my whole afternoon due to the crowd we were faced with! Met with a lot of familiar faces, got to say hi and chatted here and there, what a way to meet some friends in church whom i barely see around! After that, it was already 3-ish, super duper late, so we headed for lunch. that was when i received a text about the rims that mum managed to find! i wanted to change the rims because the original ones are realy really heavy, however due to the size of the car, its very hard to find the right sized rims! nevertheless, after sourcing around on saturday, i managed to find this particular store, Leong Seng Tyres and Automotive. the main criteria that i had in mind was weight. These are the original rims, which are good! They are really durable, however they weight at a whopping 9kg!! its really heavy, especially for a small car like mine, which needs acceleration. so that is the main reason why i wanted new rims. Secondly was for aesthetic sake, like dude come on, my new rims look so much cooler right???? for those who know more about cars, my car has 15 inch rims diameter, followed by a 165 for the tyres. Front and back, same configuration. i could have opted for 14'' but mum decided against it. Here are the differences, a 14'' will offer a better comfort because there is more space for the tyres, greater backspacing, hence more cushioning. this is especially needed for a car like mine that is really low. this car, is like a bump detector on the road -.- however, a 15'' gives me more feel of the turning, more control of the car because of the reduction of space between rim and tyres. any thinner and i am pretty sure my butt is gonna get bruised sooner or later. :) That's my car! That's my car! have i ever uploaded any photos of my car? i am unsure. Oh yes, the merc you see parked in the car porch is dad's. Mum's car is at another condo further down the street. On weekends, mum's car and mine switches. Sigh super dirty car eh? :/ gave it a good scrub till the sun set alright, now its gleaming! but not as bright as dad's polished car. pfffft. yay for national flag! |
