i got to say i have been very very busy during this chinese new year period, so i have very little time to blog. finally, i have found time to blog! i took lots of pictures during my celebration, but they are mostly from one event only as chinese new year as CNY is the time for families to gather once a year and chit chat while eating together! so obviously i was too busy talking to people till i forgot to take pictures.
oo i had dinner with my paternal grandmother at the soup resturant, that is located at Seah Street, just next to Raffles Hotel. first up was 'lou hay' i think i spelt it wrongly. pardon my lousy dialect. anyway it is called 'yu sheng', its loads of i dunno what put together and chinese will use their chopsticks to lift the ingredients high up into the air, sort of a tradition for good luck adn prosperity.
okie after all the words comes the photos! i took quite alot of photos. these photos were last night's photos!

after all the 'lou hay' bro managed to fling one strand into my cup of tea! ok maybe its too blur, now lets take a closer shot....

tadaa! dun worry...its just a slice of carrot.... carrots dun kill, not in this size. hehe!
omg omg dad said in chinese "ok can serve the food already".
guess what, all the food came like a train like that! walao eh non stop de! the whole table was like full and i had to keep taking pictures. lucky we didnt order those with loads of servings.\

tadaa! its chicken! the thing in the middle is the garlic>? something like that. never like em. then they also served us CABBAGE. the plate just diagonally behind. it was just PLAIN CABBAGE. in my mind i was thinking 'do i look like a tortoise to you?!' ps my aunt's tortoise eats the same kinda cabbage. anyway the whole cabbage was untouched. you could practically sell it back to the supermarket.

this soup is da best! from Soup Restuarant, its was so tasty!

this is uh....mushroom...some other stuffs that i dunno what, ps im not a traditional kinda person so dun ask me chinese dishes. you will only receive a blank face and a long 'uhhh.... not sure' as a reply.

this one, is some chicken la, some other stuff seafood that i forgot the name. ps told ya im not traditional :-P

ps soup too nice, had a second bowl! thats lotus root!

bt the time the time this fish came, i was more or less bloated... cuz i actually ate before meeting my parents, oh yeah forgot to mention that i went with my darling, nicole and her friends of whom i just forgot their names for the third time. ps i suck at remembering names! the outing was like fellowship, afterall we felt wierd as we couldnt see our church friends on sunday, so nicole planned a movie! yeah! i more of enjoyed the accompaniment of friends and my darling! it was so rare for her to join me! usually we only meet like once a month....
