haha today, we had the FORUM for today's upper secondary assembly, but it was boooooring... as usual, all the same suggestions werwe given and obviously, no one was surprised... even the answers given were "standard answers" all expected...

Questions were like:

Can we air-con the hall?
ans: Provided the school has the funds for it, and the government wouldn't be paying for the air-con

Can we have lifts in the school?
ans: the school needs to be five storeys high! (our school has pathetically four) my friends Ren Huai said: then biuld a fifth floor la!

Can we have lockers or fans in the classroom?
ans: that is provided the students can learn to bring home their books and do their homework and the students take responsibility.

Can we bring handphones to school?
ans: students are using their handphones in class thus we do not allow them to bring handphones.

Can we have a longer reccess?
ans: that is provided the students can accept a longer day.

Can we extend the hall?
ans: To the left, it is the art block, to the right, the design and tech block, to the back, the quadrangle, to the front, HDB flats. Apparently the principal felt that this was a good question but the students thought otherwise.

Can we go to school later? This will help to reduce the latecomers.
ans: It is the attitude of the students that we must change. Next time, when you all go out and work, if you are late, you are fired! (standard answer)

that is about some of the questions brought up. the rest, can't remember.
